A few days had gone by since the mission briefing. You and your classmates were in one of the gyms doing some mountain climbing exercise. You scaled the wall just below Midoriya, climbing with determination.
Ever since you found out about the case, you couldn't stop thinking about it. For now, you and the other work study kids were being held on standby until further notice.
On top of the suspenseful dread that plagued your mind with each passing day, you weren't allowed to talk about any of it. And that drove you to a dark place.
You were never the type to keep things from people. You wore your emotions on your sleeve for everyone to see. But now... you had to hide those feelings. And when you were asked what was wrong,
— 'Hey are you alright? You've barely touched your dinner' Shoto asked you with a quiet concern laced in his voice
You snapped from your daze, eyes shifting from your plate of food to the boy next to you, 'hmm?'
'You've been quiet these past few days... are you upset with me?' He asked timidly
'Oh, no! Of course not Sho! Its just that—' you stopped yourself, trying to keep quiet about the mission
'I mean... I'm fine Shoto, really' you gave a fake smile
The boy observed you quietly, knowing better.
'I won't press you but I'm here if you need to talk' he smiled back kindly. Standing up with his empty plate, he pat your hair before taking his dish to the sink
'I almost slipped up... I have to be careful...' you thought, picking at your food once more

You reached the top of the concrete cliff, looking down over the edge to see some of your friends below, when suddenly, Bakugo began shouting
"HEY! What have you guys been learning!? TELL ME!" He demanded
"Sorry, we can't!" Kirishima answered, still climbing the wall

Once morning classes were over you made your way to the cafeteria, trailing behind your friends. You grabbed your (f/f) from the cook and made your way to the table where the other girls sat. While passing by, you looked down and notice the seemingly dead expression on Midoriya's face as he stared down at his food, 'he's had harsh feelings about the situation since the beginning...' you thought
You exhaled somberly, walking towards where you saw Mina sitting with some of the others. Once seated, rather than eating the food on your tray, you pushed it around on your plate. You've had a lack of appetite since the meeting, not just because of the mission, but because you had to lie. You had to keep this to yourself and it was eating at you from the inside out. Shoto picked up on it quickly but decided to comfort you with his presence, even if he didn't know what he was comforting you about.
