Chapter 35 | Finish Line

You didn't have enough time to generate a shield as you reached to boy, prompting you to grab him and shoot neon beams from your feet just narrowly avoiding the thrashing fire. Your intense speed and sudden force knocked the 2 of you over a few feet, rolling on the ground harshly.

You let out a slight hiss of pain as you got up with a couple of cuts on your body from the harsh fall, checking on Shindo before turning back to the 2 boys that caused the incident.

"God dammit... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING?!" Your eyes started to glow as you shouted angrily at the boys that were supposed to be helping you, "I can't believe you are both petty enough to bicker right now when there are lives on the line! Pull yourselves together and save people! I will not allow anyone else to get hurt or lose their lives because of my negligence, so get your asses moving!" You ordered while your eyes were glowing in frustration

Your rage was seething at the childish behavior or your boyfriend and Inasa, but your anger was stilled by the worried voice of a familiar classmate,

"(L/n), Shindo! Are you alright, what the hell is going on?" Midoriya asked as he reached you

You didn't face the boy, "I'm fine... just a couple of scratches. Take Shindo to the aid station and get out of here!" You told the green haired boy

"No more games..." Gang Orca said deeply as he reached towards Shoto, who jumped back

"First I'll stop the wind!" The pro shouted, sending an ultrasonic wave towards Inasa who shouted out in pain as he fell towards the ground.

"You reap what you sow" The orca hero said as he grabbed Shoto by the neck, using another ultrasonic wave to paralyze him.

The villains started running towards the evacuation shelter, with you standing in their path. "Let's take her out and head to the shelter! The boss will love that!" One of the pawns shouted

Your eyes glowed brighter now as you flew up into the air aiming your palms towards all the enemies charging your way, 'I need to fix this!'

The ground infront of you began to shake and crumble once more, the 2nd year behind you being the source.

You started releasing harsh punches in the air, aiming your energy towards the larger groups of villains below you on the ground.

"Midoriya! Grab the stragglers for me!" You called out as the freckled boy jumped into action

A sudden burst of flames was seen from the corner of your eye, the flames coming from Shoto who lay on the ground immobile. Following the fire was a powerful surge of wind that took the fire and spiraled it into a massive, flaming tornado that surrounded Gang Orca.

'They've finally got their act together and are putting the power to good use... about damn time. I'll keep my focus on protecting the evacuees!'

"Hey behind us! The boss is trapped inside that tornado!"

"He's an orca so he's super weak when he gets dried out!"

"Forget the wind- stop the flames!"
