A few days passed as Sereen and Madison finished decorating their rooms and unpacking the rest of the house with their mom.
Suddenly, sereen's alarm buzzed loudly. Madison groaned, rubbing her eyes as she sat up.
"Ughhh, Sereen, can you PLEASE turn that off? I need more sleep," she pleaded, stretching out her arms.
Sereen rolled over, smirking a little as she reached out and hit the snooze button.
"Uh, yeah... about that. We have school, remember? Like, now."
Madison gave a dramatic sigh. "Broooooooooo."
Sereen just sighed, already half awake. "What is wrong with you? You're going to love it once you get there anyways."
Madison groaned again, pulling the blanket over her head. "Yeah, sure. Love waking up at the crack of dawn for a bunch of strangers."
Sereen sat up on her bed, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "You won't be strangers for long. Everyone's curious about new girls. Especially you."
Madison smirked, teasing lightly "Or maybe they just see me as another pretty face who doesn't take things seriously. Unlike someone else around here."
"Ya, ya, ya, whatever you say, Madison. Just—let's get ready for school already so we can meet up with them faster."
Madison stretched lazily. "Honestly, I'm just thinking about those cute boys we met yesterday. And that group chat is blowing up already, this place might not be so bad after all." she smirked over at Sereen "and its obvious that you have a tiny crushhhh"
Sereen rolled her eyes, a faint blush creeping up her cheeks. "We just met them a few days ago, Madison. It's way too soon for crushes." She averted her gaze, avoiding eye contact. "But if you're so curious... which one do you think caught my eye?"
"Ohhhh you know he has brown hair, blue eyes..... His name is Laurance" Madison teased with a mischievous grin.
Sereen shrugged lightly. "Yeah, he's cute, but don't get ahead of yourself. Besides, you might be projecting your feelings a little, like the way you light up when Garroth texts you. So if we're talking about crushes, maybe you should check your own feelings first." She said quietly, trying not to laugh.
Madison swung her legs off the bed and started brushing her long hair, the soft strands slipping through her fingers like silk. "You see that?" she teased, flashing a sly grin. "Just don't let Mom catch me. If she does, we're definitely getting our stuff taken away."
Sereen rolled her eyes, shooting her a side glance. "I'm not the one grinning ear to ear because of some boy..." She glanced around the room awkwardly, then quickly grabbed her clothes and headed toward the bathroom.
"Whatever, Sereen." Madison smirked, pulling her school uniform over her head without missing a beat.

Sereen and Madison came down the stairs after getting ready, the smell of breakfast welcoming them in the dining room. Their mom had the table set neatly, a warm smile on her face. "So," she began, trying to spark some excitement, "are you girls ready to start? It's going to be a change from being at home all the time."
Madison grabbed a piece of toast, while Sereen hesitated, glancing at her sister.
"Yeah, I guess," Madison said cautiously.
