First of all - thank you for giving this fic a shot. It was been a long term work in progress and I am finally deciding it's time to start publishing online. It would mean the world if you could share your thoughts and feedback.
Second - the story is currently under development. As of the publication of this book, I have 19 chapters prewritten and this should give me time to write the next chapters while maintaining a semi-regular posting schedule and everything else in my life. (This paragraph will be updated once the full book is published.)
And finally - I plan for this to be part of a trilogy all surrounding the story of (Y/N) and Xiao. If you enjoy this story, please consider also reading the other two once they release. (There will be no cliffhanger at the end of this book minus possibly a sneak peak; this story can be enjoyed thoroughly without the need to read the other two - the reason will become clear at the end of the book.)

- I will make a proper front cover for this book soon
- (Y/N) is written about in third person rather than second (eg. "she took his hand" rather than "you took his hand"), this is just a personal writing preference of mine
- Possible T/Ws: war, deaths, neglect/torture
- This novel is intended to be a slowburn, there will be more angst than fluff and an official romantic relationship is not established (they love each other though I promise...)
- Unless otherwise stated, none of the fanarts used throughout this novel are owned by me - they will have been taken from Pinterest
