We're not the same... But we work

Chapter 9

(TIMESKIP: 1 DAY) 3RD PERSON POV:

It's the fourth of December and a regular school day, but little do Tess and Alyssa know, it would be a day that one event this day would help change their relationship, for the better or worse...?

It's the last period and class of the day, about half an hour left of history class, and the teacher announces, " Everyone, there will be a project where you have to build a model, and make a presentation to present to the rest of the class, which will be due on the thirteenth, the day before school starts Christmas break, seeing as you all have about nine to ten days of you all include the weekends and today if you all choose to work then, I will assign you all partners so the work may go by a little faster for you all."

The entire class groans, annoyed that the teacher is assigning a  project close to break, but the teacher slams his hands a hai at the desk to make everyone quiet, and everyone does so.

"Alright," the history teacher starts naming partners, and then gets to the last two saying, " And last but not least, Tess and Alyssa," the teacher says  putting his paper with all the partners written down on his desk.

"WHAT!" Both Alyssa and Tess exclaim, but being shut up by the teacher slamming his hands on his desk again.

"All partners are final girls," The teacher says with a firm and serious voice, then continues with the rest of the lesson until the bell rings, for the end of class, and the end of the day.

ALYSSA POV:

I wait outside school since me and Tess had agreed to meet outside of school to plan when we will work on the project together, and I later feel something wet hit my back, and I turn around and realize, it's water, from Tess water bottle(it's one of those Gatorade water bottles lol) and I look up from the water bottle and see a smirking Tess.

"Really Tess?" I say, with my arms crossed.

"Whatttt, I didn't do anything," Tess say, looking away, trying to act like she didn't do anything.

I roll my eyes & open my mouth to speak, " Yeah yeah, sure you didn't, anyways sheen do you want to work on the project together?"

"How about we start after school on Friday," Tess saying looking at me while leaning against a wall of the school.

"Sure on Friday, but I have a council meeting so after that ok?" I ask.

"Yeah that's fine, I'll just wait outside school for you then," Tess responds.

"Ok, great, see you around," I say, turning around to leave to my fathers car to go home.

"Alright, see you shortie," I say as I pass her, walking  away.

It takes me a minute to process what she said, and I stop walking, " wait, what- Tess-!"

"Can't hear you!" Tess says as she continues to walk away.

I roll my eyes as I continue walking to my fathers car and get inside, muttering to myself, "Always loves teasing me and getting on my nerves that girl, I swear," '𝘖𝘩 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩...'
