How the WINNER was picked ....

1 ... There were 5 judges who picked their 5 favourite poems.

2 ... Consideration was given to reads, votes and comments. With this, the length of time that the poem was featured was also taken into consideration.

3 ... Personal involvement of the Poet was also taken into consideration. (Responding to comments, adding comments, reading other poems and votes)

All the above were taken into consideration and believe us when we say ....

"It was not an easy decision."

Every single poem was a gem and we cannot express how much all involved have enjoyed this whole process, except for choosing a final winner.

There in lies the dilemma.

There were six poems that were virtually tied in the long and short of it, so we are leaving it up to the Poets to help make the final decision.

Here are the six poems.

Send us a message to us choosing 3 of these and we will tally the votes to help make the final decision.

Just send a message with the poem Numbers. (i.e. ... #1, #4, #5)

#1 ... Place (BlackStone17)

#2 ... 38 (soul_snatcher)

#3 ... End of the World (AliceMorris7)

#4 ... Alone (kpmoulton)

#5 ... We were underdogs (Spencer_Paton)

#6 ... Ode to Oppenheimer (MoonshineNoire)

We will announce the three winners Sunday morning, August 9.
