Here are some signs someone may be regressing. Typically, littles are aware of when they're regressing, but communicating this can be daunting. Help your little or someone you know as a regressor by knowing the signs. This can vary depending on the regressor!
1. Going non-verbal - Using small/simple sentences, speaking in few words, or babbling.
2. Needing Help - Needs help doing basic tasks such as tying shoes, getting dressed, or even eating.
3. Extra Sensitive Emotions - Feel easily overwhelmed by emotions and easy to get upset/cry, or easily excited.
4. Oral Sensory Seeking - Sucking on thumb, using sleeves to cover mouth, or craving their pacifier.
5. Clingy - Craving attention and the need for physical touch.
