He's very clingy: Donnie is a very disturbed individual and I feel as though if he were to get into a relationship he would confide in his partner about thoughts he's having or if he feels weird. He'd also unironically tell you things frank has said.

Jealousy, what's that?: Donnie doesn't get jealous, or at least he claims he doesn't, but you know him well enough to notice if there's a change in his behavior. At times when you stay over at his house and talk to his sisters or even parents, Donnie goes silent and watches from a distance l. Other times when you guys are at the bus stop and his friends are there, Donnie tries to keep you away from them, he does this by telling you untrue things before you get there.

Availability: Some of the only times you see Donnie are at school, when you come over, or if he happens to wander into your yard at night. This is because during the day he does a lot and if he isn't busy he'll usually lock himself away in his room, but don't take offense to that because he doesn't know it's a bad thing, he's been doing it since he was little.

Obsession: Donnie is quite literally obsessed with you. He'll think about you 24/7, he stopped taking his meds as he felt they made you not like him. (although when you found out you made him take them again, coming over to watch him take them then cradling him to sleep). He calls you in the middle of the night, needing to hear your voice to block out frank. He'll write about you and draw you. On the rare occasion he reads romance books, he imagines it's you and him.

He's persistent: When Donnie sets his mind on something he won't give up until it happens. An example is when you guys first started dating, he took you to the movies to see one of his favorite movies, which was rated R.  You kept looking away and he would make you look back, or you ask to go home because you were scared and he'd insist that the movie isn't that scary and once you watch it you'll like it better.

His very shy: It's canon that Donnie is very closed off, not talkative and such, but around you he's more open because he trusts you. When you come over you guys read together or you go and play with Sam, she loves hanging out with you as their older sister, Liz, is usually out of the house, on the rare occasion Liz is home, her and Donnie are at each other's throats, snarky comments and hand gestures that aren't very pleasant.

His family loves you: Despite the fact that Liz hates Donnie , she has no problem with you, in fact, you guys regularly hang out. As stated before, his little sister adores you and his parents are very happy with the fact that Donnie is no longer as caged up as he used to be, sure he's still a bit close off, but not to the extent he was before he met you. (They also appreciate that you make sure he's taking his meds)
