On a chilly Sunday morning, the sun peeked through the curtains of Charlie Puth's cozy apartment, casting a warm glow over the room. It was his birthday, and he had plans for a low-key day—just him, a guitar, and some quiet reflection. But his girlfriend, Y/N, had been secretly planning a surprise that would (hopefully) blow him away.

As Charlie brewed his morning coffee, he received a text from Y/N: “Happy Birthday! Can’t wait to see you later. Wear something nice!” Confused but intrigued, he shrugged it off, assuming they would just go out for dinner. He dressed in a sweater and dress pants, he was excited to see what she had in store for him.

Hours passed, and as the afternoon approached, Y/N arrived at his door with a big smile and a mysterious bag in her hand. “Happy Birthday, Charlie!” she exclaimed, pulling him into a warm embrace. After a few moments of exchanging sweet nothings, she handed him the bag.

“Open it!” she urged, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. Charlie reached in and pulled out a beautiful leather-bound notebook, its cover embossed with musical notes. He looked up, puzzled. “This is amazing, but what’s it for?”

Y/N grinned. “Turn to the first page!”

Curious, Charlie flipped to the first page and found a handwritten note: “For all your new songs, let this be the home for your ideas and dreams.” He felt a surge of inspiration and gratitude wash over him. “This is absolutely amazing! Thank you!”

But that wasn’t the only surprise. Y/N then revealed a small envelope with a plane ticket inside. “We’re going to Nashville!” she announced, practically bouncing with excitement. “I booked us a weekend getaway to explore the music scene and visit some of your favorite recording studios!”

Charlie’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Nashville? Damn baby, how much did this cost you,how did you manage all this?”

“I have my ways,” she winked. “it doesn't matter how much it costed,I wanted your birthday to be unforgettable and what better place than Music City?”

Charlie eye's her suspiciously before giving up and noticing that she had something else behind her,"what's that, love?" He asks, furrowing his brows "oh this thing?" She says grabbing a box from off the mailbox which she had balanced there "it's your cake! I also got you some cupcakes because I couldn't decide whether or not to get you chocolate or vanilla, but they are in the car and it's cold out here" when she said that Charlie laughed and invited her inside, apologizing for making her wait.

As they celebrated with cake and laughter, Charlie realized that the best part of his birthday wasn’t just the gifts or the surprises; it was the love and thoughtfulness Y/N put into making the day special. They spent the evening talking about dreams, music, and their future together.

Later that night, as they sat on the balcony under a starlit sky, Charlie took Y/N’s hand and smiled before saying, “You’ve made this birthday one of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you for being you.”

Y/N smiled back, her heart full. “And thank you for being you, Charlie. Here’s to many more birthdays together.”

With that, they shared a kiss under the stars, knowing this was just the beginning of many adventures to come.
