You know how every book has a chapter that leaves the best memories, but its always just memories?
Well, theres one in my book too.
15th July 2013.
Thats when it all started. The chapter I will never forget.
It was the summer, the air smelled like freedom, and the days melted into nights without permission.
I didnt know then that some people arent meant to stay.
I didnt know that the kind of love that keeps you up at night doesnt always end with a ring.
I didnt know that years later, Id still remember the way he laughed when we ran through the rain like idiots, soaked and breathless and absolutely certain wed never grow up. But we did.
And thats where this story begins.

...PRESENT DAY ....
It was a pleasant day , so calm and peaceful but maybe it was the excited atmosphere or the rushed people , hurrying to make me look presentable.
Here i was , sitting with my stomach churning ,as the people did my make up and hair . I could here my friends giggling and cheering me on .
Even with the happy and excited rushed surrounding , i couldn't help but feel a little gloomy .
I am all grown up now, getting married to someone perfect in every way .The room smelled like roses and old dreams.
Outside the window, the world moved in soft, golden blurs-guests arriving, strings of fairy lights swaying in the breeze, laughter floating up like bubbles. Here, it was quieter. Still. Like time had paused just for me.
I sat in front of the mirror, half-dressed and fully lost in thought, watching my reflection blink back at me like a stranger.Someone whispered, Youre glowing.
I smiled. Or at least, I think I did.
Because somewhere beneath the silk and lace, beneath the perfume and pearls, my mind wasnt here. Not entirely. It was drifting. Backwards. To a day that felt like a lifetime ago.
15th July 2013. Exactly ten years today.
If anyone told me this 10 years ago ,I probably would have cursed them out. I smiled at my thoughts, sighing at the memories that were resurfacing .
...FLASHBACK...
The corridor was full of students , everyone rushing to get to their classes . It was a busy day , anyone could tell by the looks of the students that their professor has probably taken a surprise pop quiz. On contrast to this busy crowd was the ongoing chaos .
Amidst the students was a boy running , his laugh could be heard clear as day as he was chased by two other boys , shouting at him , giggling , trying to catch him .
"Yah.. Jungwon- ah ! Wait a second , you little - comes from the oldest of three , chasing him." "YAH! Yang Jungwon ! wait till i catch you." They ran faster till they reached the ground , chasing after Jungwon . "I mean why are you chasing me . Seriously Jake hyung , it was Sunoo hyung who put the bucket there." Jungwon complained , pretending to be offended as he finally stopped facing them , still far away from them . Jake looked at Sunoo narrowing his eyes, as they both come to a halt .
" Wh- why are you looking at me like that . I accept that i put the bucket but i can assure you that i did not put the coloured water in it ." Sunoo defended himself . A soft giggling could be heard as they both saw , the culprit laughing hard while being on the ground. " I - I cant .. omg ." Jungwon uttered between breaths.
They both sneaked on him , tackling him on the ground .
Others could probably see their wrestling but they chose to ignore it . And that's for soaking us. Jake said tickling him on the ground , followed by Sunoo .
Yeah thats how they were, the weird trio . Their friendship going a long way, from watching a chaotic rom com to being their friends bridesmaid, even if they don,t know it yet .
