It's important to understand that this attachment doesn't mean the abuse wasn't real — it means the victim's sense of safety and reality has been deeply manipulated.

Background:
He comes from a wealthy, influential family. At first glance, he's charming, educated, and patient — the kind of teacher every student would wish for. He carries a scandal from his past that forced him to leave the professional art world and take up teaching at an academy.

Personality:
Outwardly kind and refined. But beneath the surface, he is a possessive, manipulative man who takes what he wants — and once he marks someone as "his," he doesn't let go. A quiet tyrant who suffocates with affection, punishes with silence, and wounds with a smile.

Phuwin Tangsakyuen

Age: 22

Role: Student / Victim of abuse / Love interest

Background:
A quiet, talented student with a difficult home life. Raised by two abusive adoptive fathers, Phuwin has learned to hide his pain and survive in silence. He can't afford school, works part-time jobs, and lives in a constant state of exhaustion — until Pond steps into his life offering help.

Personality:
Withdrawn, stubborn, and guarded. He keeps people at arm's length and doesn't trust easily. But deep down, he craves warmth — and that's exactly what makes him vulnerable to Pond's obsession. Over time, the line between fear and attachment blurs.

Personality:
Extroverted, warm-hearted, and loyal to his boyfriend Joong. Usually found dragging Phuwin to lunch or cracking jokes to lighten the mood.

Joong Archen

Age: 22

Role: Dunk's boyfriend

Background:
Calm and protective, Joong has a quiet strength that balances out Dunk's chaotic energy. He senses that something's wrong with Phuwin, especially when Pond becomes overly attentive. He starts observing from the shadows, slowly putting pieces together.

Personality:
Intelligent, observant, and fiercely loyal. He'd do anything to protect Dunk — and maybe, if he digs too deep, he'll try to protect Phuwin too.

Earth Pirapat & Mix Sahaphap

Role: Phuwin's adoptive fathers

Background:
Earth and Mix play the cruel father figures. Abusive, violent, and emotionally manipulative, they adopted Phuwin as a child but never gave him love. They treat him like a burden and constantly use threats, physical violence, or guilt to control him. Their home is a prison in itself.

Personality:
Earth is the colder one — calculated, distant, and emotionally cruel.
Mix is the impulsive one — the one who shouts, slaps, and slams doors. Together, they created an environment of fear and survival.

Fourth Kanaphan

Age: 8

Role: Phuwin's younger adoptive brother

Background:
Innocent, cheerful, and full of curiosity. Fourth is the only light in Phuwin's home life. Phuwin tries to shield him from their fathers' rage and violence. Fourth doesn't fully understand what's going on, but he knows Phuwin is his safe place.

Personality:
Sweet, smart, and sometimes too observant for his age. Loves to draw and sneak into Phuwin's room to watch him sketch.

Name: Madamsa Thanawat

Age: 50s

Role: Pond's wealthy, emotionally distant mother

Background:
A powerful art patron and socialite. She controls Pond's life from afar, expecting perfection and obedience. Their relationship is cold, driven by expectations and status, not love. Her disapproval shaped Pond's obsession with control — the only thing he feels he can truly possess.

Personality:
Elegant, manipulative, and emotionally unavailable. She sees people as tools or investments — including her son.
