For Steak
1 ½ lbs Top Sirloin Filet (1-1 ¼ inch thick)
sea salt
black pepper (to your taste)
For Herb Butter
1/2 stick butter softened at room temp (NOT MARGARINE)
dried or fresh parsley (to your taste)
½ ts onion powder
¼ ts garlic powder
Prepare oven by removing one of the racks; set the other rack on the second to last position preheat broiler , rinse steaks and pat dry . To make herb butter take butter, parsley, onion powder and garlic powder mix together until combined and creamy , set aside. Season steaks with sea salt on both sides place in broiler pan or a baker that's shallow and easily drips off juices. Place steaks in oven and broil for six (6) minutes flip with tongs and broil another six (minutes) , then take rack and slid into very top position and broil for three (3) minutes then with tongs flip and broil another three (3) minutes . Remove from oven and place on a rack and immediately rub only the top side of both steaks with herbed butter let sit five (5) minutes .then add pepper; serve and enjoy.
* TIP you could also combine and melt the butter, dried or fresh parsley,onion powder and garlic powder keep warm. When steaks are done remove from oven and dip the more crisper side in butter mixture and drain on rack
