The bathroom gradually filled with steam as hot water poured out of the showerhead. Liz simply stared blankly at the wall as the water ran down her body, hearing the droning of the running shower while the distant noise of someone watching TV could be heard in the other room.

For her, this was a rather nerve-wracking night. It started out fine enough; her boyfriend, Blake, had come over after work and they watched movies together as they ate takeout, but it was going to end quite differently than normal. After dating for several months and previously discussing it, they were going to have sex for the first time. Liz had intentionally put it off until she was sure she wanted to do it with him. The problem wasn't the sex itself, in fact she'd had plenty of fun in the past with both men and women alike. Instead, it was something more supernatural: she was a succubus.

She hadn't told him yet because she had been burned one too many times. In the past she'd signed contracts with others, in which they agreed to become a "meal provider". That is, they let her fuck them so she could feed off their sexual energies. It was how she got her sustenance. The problem was that the relationship with these "meal providers" didn't always last, or they simply feared getting entangled with a demonic entity. Looking back, she also wondered if she simply sprung the whole "I'm actually a demon" bit on her past partners too quickly.

She decided to try a different approach with Blake, which was to simply delay trying anything with him to make sure that he was a good pick. She had hoped this precaution would be the solution to her conundrum, but it was becoming increasingly bothersome that she couldn't reveal her whole self to her boyfriend. She was excited to finally end that hiding and show him everything. Yet, that very same prospect made her nervous.

Realizing she'd been spacing, she started washing her hair. Running her hands through her long, black locks, she could already hear the voice of her auntie in her head. Not her blood-related aunt of course, demons did not have such things, but rather the succubus who raised her and served as a mentor of sorts. Vilosir, a woman wholly married to the old ways of harvesting human energy.

"The best solution is the old-fashioned way." She always told her. "You just have to pounce on strangers as they sleep and suck out their energies that way. When they wake up, they'll just think they had an unusually intense wet dream. It's simple and effective. Why complicate things by getting involved in a relationship?" It was a lecture she'd heard twice for each of her past contracts: once for when she signed it, and then again when she had to end it. Each time it got more annoying.

She'd tried her auntie's method in her teen years, but it wasn't something she felt comfortable with, at least not in the long term. It was only a matter of time before someone caught her in the act, which could only spell trouble for her; be it shotgun shells or exorcists knocking on her door. It was a problem even Vilosir acknowledged, which just made her opposition to the safer solution all the more annoying.

Before she could get too worked up over the memory of tedious lectures, she finished washing her hair. It was time to step out, have some fun with her boyfriend, then finally reveal herself.

Turning the water off, she dried herself off before putting on a black bathrobe. She left the steamy bathroom to see Blake sitting at the edge of her bed and watching tv. He'd showered before her, so he was sitting idly with a towel tied to his waist. He was a rather burly man, with short brown hair, a full beard and moustache, and lots of body hair.

"Oh, hey!" He said, perking up when he saw her walking out.

"Hey~" She said, sauntering towards him.

He stood up to meet her, holding the towel so it didn't fall off. "So...you ready to, uh..."

"I'm ready to fuck, yes." She said, plopping herself down on the side of the bed. "Now come here."
