Chapter - 11

LIFELINE HOSPITAL :
Abhi : "yeh drug visual hallucinations create
karta hai..that means somebody is trying to
harm Manik..wo hallucinations isi drug ki
wajah se the..but kaun ho sakta hai
woh..."...he said in shock as he had no
expect this info regarding Manik..and he
went towards I.C.U...
Aahana, Ayaan and Navya were standing
near the door of I.C.U..looking inside
through glass door..every now and then..just
then Abhi arrived there..
Abhi : "Where is fab-4?..."...he asked while
looking around to find them..
Navya : "woh log sab Mandir gayye
hai..Manik ke lie .."..
Abhi : "ohhh..ok..."..he said in a bit low
voice..while looking downwards..
Navya sensed something is wrong with
him..she came towards him and put her
hand on his shoulder..he look at her ..
Navya : "Nandini jitna toh nahi..par hum bhi
tumhe samjhte hai..kya hua
hai?.."..genuineness was clearly visible in
her voice as well as in her eyes..
Abhi : "i know.."..he said with a bit
smile..but then his smile fades away.."mujhe
tum sab ko kuch batana hai.."..he said while
looking towards ayaan and aahana as well..
Ayaan : "han abhi bolo.."...
Abhi : he look around and then said "yahan
nahi..let fab-4 come as well"..
Just then fab-4 arrived..
Aahana: "look..wo log bhi aa gayye.."..abhi
turn around and saw all of them..and it
didn't took a second for him to figure out
that they had cried a lot..soon they all
reached near I.C.U..
Abhi : "guys mujhe kuch batana hai tum sab
ko.."
Dhruv : "han..bolo..abhi.."...
Abhi : "nahi..yahan nahi it's not safe.."..
Ayaan : "baat kya hai..you seems to be very
worried.."..he pat on abhi's shoulder..
Abhi : "hmmm..it is serious.."..he look
downwards ..while other look at him with
worry on their faces..as they already observe
it's about Manik only..
Aahana : "we can talk in the old dressing
room of the hospital..last time when i visit
here..it was closed..and now no one uses
it..we can talk there..."..
Aaliya : "Ok..let's move out.."
Cabir : "But Manik..we can't left him
alone..."...
Mukti : "Cabir is right..what if he needs
us.."..
Abhi : "actually u both are right..wait..i'll
just come.."..and he walked away..
after sometime he comes with 2 guards and
instructed them well..
Cabir : "what's going on Abhi??..."..he said
in confusing tone..
Abhi : "I will tell you everything..but right
now..please come with me.."..
and they all followed him..
OLD DRESSING ROOM :
Abhi was moving to and fro..and everyone
was looking at him..
Cabir : "Abhi..please spill the beans.."..he
said with no strength left inside him..
Abhi : stopped in mid-way and look at
others..who were looking at him
intently.."Guys Armaan ne mujhe manik ki
reports dikhai thi aaj..."
Mukti : "kya hua..woh thk toh hai na..kya
tha reports mei.."..she said in one breath..
Abhi : held her hand in his hand and
caresses it with his thumb.. "relax..let me
finish please.."..and he blink his eyes in
assurance..then he continued.."i got to know
the reason behind manik's hallucinations"..
"WHAT"..everybody shouted in unison ..all
were confused...
Cabir : "but woh toh tumne pehle he bata
diya tha na.."..he said in puzzling tone..
Abhi : "there is a lot more.."
Navya : "tum kehna kya chahte ho?"..
Abhi : "have you ever heard about dementia
drug.."..they all nodded their heads in
NO.."Manik ke blood mei us drug ke traces
mile hai.."..
Mukti : "It's not possible..Manik never took
drug..he used to have alcohol ,,but after
Nandini came ..he never intake it too.."
Dhruv : "Mukti is right abhi.."
Aaliya : "But then how come the traces are
found in his blood?"..she said in confusing
manner..while other also start
thinking..whereas Cabir was in deep
thoughts..
Cabir : while looking downwards.."that
means..somebody has given to him
deliberately .."...everyone was baffled at
Cabir's statement..except Abhi..
Abhi : "You are right Cabir...and do you guys
know what is the effect of this
drug.."..everybody nodded their head in
NO.."this drug causes hallucinations..."
Now this comes as a big shock to all of
them..they look at abhi in disbelief..
Abhi : "Koi intentionally yeh drugs Manik ko
de raha hai..koi toh hai jo chahta hai ki
manik mentally unstable ho jaye..and am
sure wo jo koi bhi hai..wo hamare peeche
shimla jarur aaya hai..koi Manik ko harm
karna chahta hai..we need to find out who is
this person..."..
Ayaan : "but kese abhi..i mean woh kaun hai..hum nahi
jante hai..hum use dhundenge kese?.."
Cabir : "but usse pehle we need to find the source
..jahan se Manik tak yeh drugs pahuch rahe hai...and
we have to cease that source.."
Abhi : "You are right Cabir..hume pehle Manik ko
protect karna hai..isliye abse Manik jo bhi khayega ya
wo jo bhi piyega..woh sab hum check
karenge..everything should be in front of our
eyes..bahar se jo bhi aayega..it should be seal
packed..clear..."..
everybody said "YES"..in unison..
Cabir : "ummm..mujhe bhi kuch batana hai.."..he said
in a bit serious tone..
Abhi : "han Cabir say na.."...everybody looked at
him..but they didn't wanted to hear any more bad news
now..
Cabir : "I have seen Harshad..he was
following us..and when we were at
dhabha..he was also there ..i had confronted
him there only.."...everyone looked more
shock now..
Aaliya : "bhai.."..he said in low pitch
voice.."why he was following us"..everyone
look at her..
Mukti : "sorry Aaliya..but i want to say..what
if Harshad is behind all this..."...everyone
seems to be in deep thoughts..
Aaliya : "you don't have to be sorry..it's me
who have to be sorry..to have a brother like
him..i wish i was an orphan..."..a tear rolled
down from her eyes..but dhruv held her
hand tightly and wiped her tears..she gave a
weak smile to him..mukti also hugged her
tightly and so as cabir..
Aaliya : "but if this time he is behind all
this..then i swear ..i myself will punish
him..."...
Just then Abhi's phone rang..it was from
guards who were standing outside the
I.C.U...
Abhi : "hello..."
Guard : "sir..koi lady aayi hai.. Mr. Malhotra
se milne.."
Abhi : "kaun hai woh?...naam pucha?.."
Guard : "jee..she is saying..she is Nyonika
Malhotra..his mother"..
Abhi : "ohh ok..hum abhi aate hai.."...and he
cut the call..
Abhi : "guys..Nyonika aunty hospital aa
chuki hai..i think news leak ho chuki
hai..that Manik is hospitalized.."
Cabir : "hum unhe kya kahenge..mene unhe
promise kiya tha..ki hum sab hai ..manik ke
sath ..kuch nahi hoga na hume na use..but
now..what we will answer to her..."...he said
in a very sad tone..
Navya : "Cabir..plz..right now..hume sirf
Manik ke barei sochna hai.."..he said while
cupping his face in her hands..
Abhi : "guys hum..yeh drugs wali baat aunty
ko nahi bata sakte..she will be very
worried..we need to hide it from her.."
They all agreed to it and moved out to meet
Nyonika..
OUTSIDE I.C.U :
Nyonika : "let me go inside..he is my son.."
Guard : "sorry Ma'am..we are only following
orders hum apko andar nahi jaane de
sakte"..
Nyonika : "who gave u such orders.."..she
said in anger..
Abhi : "mene"...he said from her back..and
she turned around to see all of them
approaching towards her..
Abhi : "sorry aunty they are following my
orders.."
Nyonika : "but kyu beta..kuch hua
hai..Manik ka accident aur ab yeh guards
..kya chal raha hai yaha..mujhe koi kuch
batega "...she said in anger
Cabir : "aunty please ..baithiye..hum sab sirf
Manik ki safety ke liye yeh kar rahe
hai.."..he made her sit on the bench and
kneel down on the floor and put his hands
in her lap.."hume maaf kar dijiye hum
Manik ko protect nahi kar paye"..a tear fell
down from his eyes..but she wiped them and
hugged him tightly..
Nyonika : "you all are my kids like
Manik..mujhe sirf Manik nahi..tum sab bhi
safe chahiye..please hum sab wapas chalenge
yahan se..Manik ko hosh aa jaye..fir hum
sab wapas Mumbai chale jaenge..this
place..this place is a curse for us.."
Cabir : "jee.."
After 6 hours..Manik regained
his consciousness..everybody came inside to
meet him..
Nyonika : "my baby..tum theek ho na.."..she
sat beside him on the chair and caressed his
face..
Manik : "Mom..i..i..m..fiii..neee.." ..he said
with great difficulty..
Nyonika : "kuch kehne ki jarurat nahi
hai...just sleep.."..and he closed his eyes after
giving a smile to all while she run her
fingers in his hairs ...
AFTER 1 WEEK :
Manik got discharge..Nyonika wanted to
take him directly from hospital to Mumbai
but Aahana somehow convinced her to visit
her place first..as Manik is still weak..in this
whole week fab-4,aahana,ayaan,navya and
abhi..checked everything which comes for
Manik..they were very conscious whatever
comes from outside..they were keeping eye
on every single thing around Manik..
AAHANA'S FARMHOUSE :
Everyone was sitting in Manik's room..while
Manik was lying on the bed..and everyone
was busy in look after him..just then
Nyonika got a call and excused herself..
Manik : "guys...relax..mai theek hoon
ab..why u all freaking out?..."
Cabir : "we are freaking out:?...salle..you
scared us ..i can kill you if next time..u
would do such things.."..
Manik smiled a bit ..Just then Nyonika
entered inside..everyone look towards her..
Nyonika : "bacho..hume aaj he Mumbai
wapas jana hoga..meri ek bahut important
meeting hai..aur mai tum logo ko yahan
akela nahi chor sakti.."
Aahana : "but aunty..Manik is still week
..and i don't think travelling in such state is
good for him.."..everyone seconded her..
Nyonika : "but..."..she was cut off in between
by Manik..
Manik : "Mom relax..i'll be fine..hum sab
wapas aa jaenge..plz trust me.."..he said in
the most pleading voice..
And she accepted her defeat but instructed
everyone to look after each other because
next time she won't consider such
pleadings..and she left back to Mumbai...
