Yep... I worked as a bakery saleslady😭😭 I don't even know if that's the right word, but basically I was one of the people who serve the food and handle the bread and sell them to customers 💔😭
My salary for one day was only ₱140.00 (that's less than 3 dollars URGH😭) but my dad said it's just for the experience so I can know how hard it is to work, especially when you didn't graduate.
I only lasted for 19 days because summer's almost over and we're going back to school TOMORROW (June 16, 2025) WHATTT 😭
My last day was last Friday
(May 26, 2025 — June 13, 2025).
My first week was pretty okay! I was super shy and talked really softly at first but I memorized all the prices on my first day so yay me 😭✌️
After that I tried to speak louder so the customers could hear me (but trust me some customers are so annoying, I swear I tried not to lose my patience 💔).
But you know what's WORSE? 😭😭
I kinda... maybe... accidentally fell in love with one of the bakers inside the bakery 😭😭😭
So at first, my girl co-worker's schedule was at night but mine was during the day, so I ended up working with a stranger whose shift was also 7AM–7PM like me. When the saleslady schedule changes, so do the bakers inside. And that's how I met him.
I don't even know how to explain how we fell for each other but let me try 😭
On my first day, I saw him baking and I asked him for bread but he never even looked at me or helped me 😭 I was like :
"wtf handsome but rude"
He looked so young compared to the other bakers, I didn't know his name but I kept trying to guess it whenever I heard names from my co-workers but I never figured it out.
One day there was a thunderstorm and all the electricity went out so the bakers couldn't work (the machines don't work obviously 😭).
