Chapter 35 | Finish Line

"SMMMAAAASHHHHHHHH!!!" He shouted

Soon enough Ojiro jumped in to help the 2 of you out.

"The injured have all been evacuated! Reinforcements will be here soon!" The tail quirked boy informed you as you nodded and lowered down closer towards them in the air.

Mina and Tokoyami also jumped in with a surprise attack towards some of the other villains,

"Did you miss me (Y/n)?" Mina called out with a giggle

"We are here to help!" Tokoyami added

A long tongue swept a few other enemies off their feet, Tsu appearing from her camouflage,

"Asui-uh Tsu! When did you get here?!" Midoriya called out to the frog girl

"I've been training my frog skills, and have finally reached a new level of control! Camouflage is my new special move!" Tsu explained

"Tsu, you're done with search and rescue already?" You asked, more relaxed now that backup has arrived

"For the most part, ribbit- (L/n)! Look out!" Tsu warned as you turned around with a shield up

Before anything could hit you a massive tangle of hair swept the 4 villains away,

"Shiketsu High..." you muttered in shock

"I sent Inasa here to help but he has disgraced our schools name!" The upperclassman informed, "THERE SHOULD BE NO ENEMIES LEFT!" He shouted as a massive wall of hair came from the boy

"So strong..." Ojiro said in awe

"Yeah... ribbit" Tsu added

You nodded at the upperclassman's assault, rushing off to take care of the last of the terrorists, "we're not done yet!" You shouted as you flew off to help stop Gang Orca

You landed beside Midoriya who was watching the blazing tornado as it suddenly disappeared from the pros sound wave.

"So... what now?" The orca hero taunted

Gang Orca approached Shoto, ready to finish him off. Without even thinking you lunged right in front of him, generating a powerful shield as the pro let out a sound wave into it. Your hands shook and sweat dripped down your face,

"(L/n)!" The pro said threateningly

Your exhaustion had begun to set in moments ago, but your job wasn't done... 'not until every life is saved!' You let out a harsh grunt and dropped your shield, sending a hard punch of energy at the pro and knocking him back. Just as the pro got up Midoriya sent a harsh kick to the orca hero, who blocked the attempt with his arm.

Before you could take another step a loud alarm went off within the stadium, making you look up with questioning eyes

"Um yeah, so, at this time all H.U.C. members deployed have all been rescued from the disaster zone," Mira announced allowing you to let out a pant of relief,

"It may seem anticlimactic, but with this, the provisional licensing exam has officially been completed. After we tally the scores we will announce the results within the arena... anyone injured should go to the infirmary, the rest of you can change into different clothes and wait wherever you want..."

With that you kneeled down tiredly, taking shaky breathes to try and even out the flow of oxygen in your body.

You turned back, looking over your shoulder to check on the white and red haired boy lying behind you.

"I'll help you to the nurse *huff*" you smiled with exhaustion at the boy who held a look of regret and disappointment on his face.
