When the Kurota was infused in to the mug, it immediately turned black, and felt clean to the touch. Kind of like when you wash the dishes with soap, just without the wetness, nor the sweet smell of dish soap.
Feeling curious, I shattered it, and put a piece of it under a microscope.
Nothing, not even a single bacteria, or dust for that matter. The mug had turned entirely sterile. This was pretty revolutionary, because now, I don't have to worry about contaminants in my work anymore.
But, why did Kurota kill all the bacteria, and cleaned all the dust on the mug?
Hmm...
For now, I imbued Kurota in to my scalpel, and it turned black and sterile.
I began slicing open the demon.
A horrible, yet familiar smell emerged from inside of the demon.
I peer through the new opening I created, and found... nothing. Not a single organ, just that hot black blood I've gotten familiar with.
Of course, that stuff starts gushing out from the new hole I made, and I closed up the hole with Kurota infused staples, which came undone as soon as I stopped touching it.
Luckily it fixed it self before too much can come out.
Hmm.
Hypothesis 357 : Demons consist entirely of Kurota
The next night, after I came home from work, the demon had escaped the lab.
Well that's annoying.
The best way I can think of, is a cage of some kind to keep them from leaving. But, physical objects don't interact with it.
Maybe if they're infused with Kurota?
But then I'd need to be constantly supplying it with kurota, that'll be really annoying.
Nevermind, I did it. A sort of Kurota battery. All I did was inject as much Kurota as I can directly to the individual molecules, instead of the object as a whole. Then, the kurota can persist for a considerable amount of time, even after I stopped supplying it.
Perfect.
The same night, I went out to buy groceries, and hopefully pick up a demon somewhere. I have noticed a slight increase in demon activity around my neighborhood, which is interesting, though I still don't know what's causing it.
Maybe it's because of me, but I feel like that's unlikely. I guess I'll check for it later.
Eventually, I found a perfect demon while buying groceries.
I subdued it, and brought it home with me.
During the grocery run, I also bought one of those foldable metal dog pen. The plan is to imbue it with kurota to reliably hold the demon from escaping again.
As I was trying to get the demon in the cage, It attacked me and left a pretty big scratch on my arm, not deep enough to be considered real damage. I eventually got it in the pen, imbued it with kurota, and now It can't leave.
I looked for a band-aid for my wound, but then I remembered the first demon healing after I'd cut It open, and a flash of inspiration struck me. I tried focusing kurota to my wound. It did nothing. Then, I tried to apply it to the molecules that make up my skin, and the scratch actually started closing up.
I was... appalled to say the least.
Eventually the wound closed, and I, out of curiosity, placed my healed arm under a microscope, adjusted the focus, and saw something jarring.
