Greetings, my name is Noa Hoshigami.
I'm a 24 year old woman.
I worked in the University of Tokyo Hospital as a doctor, surgeon, and medical researcher.
People called me a genius, I have no idea why.
All I did was learn, just like everyone else.
I'd always been curious.
As a kid, everything in the world to me had always been like one big laboratory where I could experiment, study, and learn more about, well, anything.
I called them "Rabbit Holes," little bits of inspiration my brain receives from time to time, that would completely envelop me in curiosity, and wonder.
And before long I'd started experimenting again.
The reason why I was particularly good at medical science, and surgery, was because my mother was a surgeon herself.
She'd bring me to her office, and I would find myself infatuated by all of the books she had in there.
That's why, it was because "Medical Science" had been my first Rabbit Hole.
Therefore, the people that called me a genius, are simply wrong, plain and simple.
My parents were always completely supportive of my curiosities, and little experiments that I did as a kid.
Though, that is until they died when I was just 10 years old due to a car accident.
By that point I'd understood what death was. However, in the face of my parents' grave, I found myself feeling indifferent, if anything, a little annoyed as I knew I wouldn't be getting any more support for my curiosities.
Still, despite the odds, I persevered, and through the help of my Aunt and Uncle, I managed to speed my way through Elementary school, be valedictorian in Middle School, and High School, and got a 4.0 GPA on my Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate's degrees for Medical Research in Tokyo University, before I turned 18.
Something interesting happened when I was 12 years old, going through Middle School.
My uncle had apparently grown a liking to me, a little bit too much. One night when I was reading my books, he came in to my room, locked my bedroom door, and proceeded to pin me to my bed, and had his way with me.
It really was quite interesting the lengths some people would go to when they're in heat.
Every now and again, my uncle would just pop in, and had his way with me, anytime he pleased, said things like how he'd "Always loved me from the first time he saw me," and how it was somehow "My fault for seducing him."
What a ridiculous individual. Who does he think he is?
Hmm, what about me you ask? Please, I'm not nearly that precious. I'd let it go the next morning, I had better things to do.
Although, if I were to say anything on the matter, the faces he was making while he was doing it, does piss me off quite a bit.
That was all in the past however, by now I was just enjoying my life as a researcher, discovering and studying new things is such a wonderful feeling.
It's as if I'm getting closer and closer to how the universe works.
It's a delight, you should try it sometimes.
However, nothing could've prepared me for the sheer depth of this new Rabbit Hole I'm about to find myself falling down in to this time.
