Chapter 34 Complicated

Keifer's POV

It's just 3 days left for Christmas and tomorrow is finally our Christmas party. Jay is too excited for this party and if she's happy I'm happy too.

She has invited old friends, family, classmates and I don't know the whole world maybe. She's celebrating Christmas with her family and friends after two fuckin' years, obviously she must be happy.

She came to me and jumped into my arms suddenly.

She's like a little baby. So stubborn and still so cute. I'm so in love with this girl. As I held her, I felt a sense of possessiveness and protection. I always wanna protect her and keep her safe, be her shield against the world.

"I'm so excited for tomorrow." She said while I was caressing her hair and breathing in the scent of her hair.

"I know you are. I promise Jay, tomorrow would be the best day of your life." I said and pressed my lips on the back of her head.

Tomorrow is the day. I'd ask her to be my
' official girlfriend ' tomorrow. I'd tell her about Ion and that fuckin' forced engagement and I'd make sure to her that I'll not get married unless it's her I'm getting married to.

"I love you so much baby." Jay said while still clinging onto me.

"I love you more muffin. I love you until the scientists find the end of the universe." I said and she chuckled.

Honestly I love giving her nicknames and she's too cute, those nicknames are really made for her.

"Keifer."

"Hmm.."

"Keifer, I'm hungry."

"You are always hungry, my foodie." I said and she punched my arm lightly.

We pulled apart and I took her hand and guided her to the dining area. We both sat there in silence for a while. She was about to say something but her phone rang suddenly.

It was Sophia.

Jayjay's POV

I picked up Sophia's call quickly.

["Jay, I need help with Yuri and stuff. I'm coming over to your house."]

"Soph, I'm at Keifer's right now."

["Huhh!! Is Yuri there?"]

"No, why wouldn't he be here."

["He just left in frustration and said he needs someone to talk to. I thought he was going to Keifer's. Anyway, meet me at the cafe near your house."]

"Okay!! See ya." I said and hung up. Keifer was looking damn confused.

"Something happened? Everything's okay?" He asked suddenly.

"Yupp!! Seems like a Yuri and Sophia problem. Why can't these two idiots accept that they like each other." I said and sighed.

I mean honestly why is it so hard for people to confess their feelings.

"Yeah. You know, I know a girl who acted like she hated the guy she can't just get over. She responded to his kisses and still said that she hates him. Really I don't know why it is so hard to accept your feelings." He said and started laughing.

"Sucha jerk you are. Obviously I hated you after what you did but I just couldn't get over you."

"I'm sorry for that Love but I promise now that I'd never ever lie to you again."
