We agreed to go with him because there was noting else we could do . it was bad enough that they set everyone to sleep so we were on our own . I wouldn't deny that I was scared as hell but I kept my face blank of expressions . the heat from joannas body kept me attached to reality while his words echoed in my head . what does it mean that we were observed all that time and why us . I know he answered that question but the answer was very lame . because we were strong ? maybe we were strong but I bet we are as mental as the people at asylum and we probably cant hold any more pressure . once you have had enough , you have had enough

We spent all 2 hours car ride in silent , Joanna alert next to me and holding my hand a little too tight . I would've said something but i don't want to be the one to break the silence . the car started to slow down infront of a small building and at first I thought it was a simple farm house

"is that for camouflage ? "

"smart girl , u learn fast . yes it is the institute is under it so it doesn't get any attention " . "isn't it more suspicious to have a house in the middle of nowhere and there no grass or water near hear , I mean somebody must have suspected something already "

" 1) it is for the Infrared radiation, if anyone scanned the place without that house they are gonna see red waves but now they think people live in this house . 2) we have set many stories about this house about a man who kills who ever goes in that house and we even made a couple of interviews and released it on the internet . nobody tries to come close it but we get an attempt by a stupid teenager every couple of years but we handle it "

"how do exactly do you handle it ?" Joanna finally spoke

" we keep him in a room for a week to calm his nerves then we give him a simple job , we all know if we set him outside again the chances of our exposure would be high and we cant afford mistakes like that "

There was a moment of silence and when it was obvious that neither me or Joanna are about to ask anything else he spoke

"now shall we begin ? . I will show you around today and you better be focused it is a huge place and if you got lost you will never know who you are under the mercy of "

"Sound fun "Joanna said sarcastically

" I recommend that you keep the sarcasm to yourself and listen to me . not all escorts are nice and tolerated as me and if you don't watch your tone you would be done in a matter of days " he said flatly

"look I still don't understand what is going on and I don't think that that you are going to save me from what ever is in there m you basically kidnapped and my girl from the house "

I felt butterflies mixed with fear when she said my girl . I mean making it official infront of him may make it a con . it might use it against us later , but then again he saw us together in the same bed and her hand was hugging me hard .

"no you chose to come with me . I gave a lot of information , you considered it and chose "

"whe had no other choice we .. " I said but he cut me of

He shot me a look and continued walking . we went through the old house . it was empty and there was nothing remarkable . even if anybody came here they would be disappointed . we walked to another room and it had a small window with an uninteresting view unless you love to live in nothingness . the floor was all wooden and chapped . the air smelled like damp wood and mildew and the sound of cracking wood was filling the silence as we walked to the other side of the room . he bent down and removed tree tiles revealing a what considers like a nice stairs .

"setting it in the middle of the room would be too obvious " he said

"sure because everyone is looking for a hole in the floor to get to a super secret institute " I said to myself but he still heard me but only shook his head
