Chapter 6 Welcome back

Sir Alvin started teaching but the whispers didn't stop. I was acting nonchalant but honestly my heart was beating so fast.

The next classes went in silence. I stole glances at her but she didn't even look at me. Ci-n and Felix were the first one to approach Jay but she put on her earphones and pretended that she can't even see them anymore. Ci was just about to cry.

Suddenly Sophia stood up from her chair and went towards Jay. _______________________________________

Jayjay's POV

I tried my best to ignore them all but honestly I was literally holding back my tears. Ci-n and Felix came and tried to talk to me but I put my earphones on and ignored them. I was about to text Percy when I noticed the girl who was sitting next to Keifer coming towards me.

She smiled at me so I smiled back. I put off my earphones. She stretched her hand towards me.

"Hey I'm Sophia Dela Cruz, I know you're Jayjay. You were here for the first year. Right?" She asked me. I shook her hand and nodded. Honestly she seemed nice to me. But Section E accepted another girl. It's really hard to believe.

"Why did you get transferred, Section E is so nice." She said and they all looked at me. I didn't reply.

"I'm going to the CR. See you in a while." I said and started walking again.

"Hey, wait I'm coming with you." Sophia said and started following me. We were on our way to the main building and she was still coming with me. I must say she's kinda....overfriendly?

" You didn't reply huhh??" She said and I frowned.

"It's just...like..... I wanted to explore NYC.
I'm back here because my Kuya is getting married and my family wanted me here." I replied.

"Ohh!! So you've an older brother. Nice I also wanted an older sibling but I just have an annoying younger sister." She said and we both chuckled.

"He isn't my siblings actually, he's my cousin but we're close and he's older than me so I call him Kuya." I said and she nodded. I wish my older brother was here with me. It feels so cool to have an older sibling. I also have an older brother, Aunt Gemma told me that Mom gave him for adoption. Sometimes I think, does he even know that he has a younger sister.

We were walking to the main building when she suddenly asked me,

"So why are you ignoring Section E, they're so nice. Were they rude to you or something?"

"Nahh!! It's nothing. I just don't like talking too much..I'm not ignoring them." I said reluctantly.

" You know I was so scared when I got transferred here. And when I was at the registrar's office, they told me that Section E was the worst section. But they all were really nice. They treated me like their own. Especially Keifer, he treats me so nicely. Once Section A girls were bullying me but he helped me and shut them all up."

Is she talking about the same MARK KEIFER WATSON? Keifer being nice to a girl? Almost impossible. She must be his new target or maybe he likes her something. But I don't care about that fucker anymore.

I just smiled at her and I noticed Rakki coming straight to me. She hugged me.

"Jayjay, welcome back my babygirl." Rakki said and I hugged her back.

"Come, join us at the cafeteria, umm Sophia, you can come too." Rakki said reluctantly.

"Yeah sure, btw have you seen Aries, I've to ask him if he'll take me home with him or I've to manage on my own." I said and Sophie looked at me with a confusing expression.

"Are you close with Aries?" She asked me and Rakki and I chuckled.

"Yeah obviously I'm close to him, he's my cousin." I said laughing.

" You guys carry on, actually I've to eat with Keifer, I promised him." She said and left suddenly.

They're having lunch together?? Is she that close to Keifer?? Anyway I don't give a damnn.

I headed to the cafeteria with Rakki.

Yuri's POV

We were all shocked to see that Jay is back. She's back to Section E. She looked so different from before. She looked so grown up. But the way she ignored us Section E, it hurts so bad. I went to Keifer and he was acting nonchalant but I know deep down he's happy too that she's back and I know it hurts him too that she is ignoring us. I went towards him and noticed that he was lost in his thoughts.

" So, aren't you going to try to talk to her?" I asked him and he shook his head. I sat next to him.

"Keifer you know we all know that you still love her." I said to him. He didn't reply and got up from his chair and left the room. I was about to follow him but I saw Sophia running towards me.

" You knew she was Aries's cousin and he's your enemy and that's why you bullied her and she left. Am I right?" She said to me without even taking a single breath.

I looked at her shockingly. She literally can become a writer. The way she made a story by connecting the dots is hilarious.

" Keifer and the whole Section E placed a bet over her. She got to know about that and left us for good." I told her and she looked shocked.

" Keifer placed a bet? What was the bet? I wanna know it all." She asked curiously.

" You know I've to go to CR. I'll tell you soon." I said and was about to leave but she stopped me by holding my arm.

" So now you're keeping things from me huhh!!!" She said and started fake crying.

"Ok...ok... ok..stop your drama club, I'm telling you." I said and sighed.

"So it was like...Keifer, me, Aries and Percy, we used to be bestfriends. We knew each other since we were 4 or 5. We were also very close to Jayjay as she was Aries's cousin and she used to play with us a lot. When we got promoted to high school, we all took admission in HVIS but Aries and Percy got Section A whereas me, Keifer and Jay got Section E. Jay was the only girl in Section E." I explained to her and her eyes widened.

"So you're telling me that you guys were friends with Aries and Percy. No no no, you guys were bestfriends." She said and I sighed.

"Sorry sorry sorry, please continue." She asked me to go on.

" So it was our first week in Section E and we were still trying to get to know each other. So Drew and Blaster were making a bet to make Jay fall in love. Whoever will make Jay fall will win the bet. They asked other guys to join the bet and finally all of us except from Ci-n and David joined the bet. But eventually as they all started to know Jay, they started to care about her. She treated them like family and eventually they all backed off from the bet. Me and the whole Section E noticed that Keifer was also kinda falling for Jay but he never accepted the fact and always said that he was doing it for the sake of that stupid bet." I continued and she was so shocked by that story.

" So how does she get to know about the bet and why are you guys and Percy and Aries aren't friends anymore." She asked.

"That story is for another day." I said and got up from my chair and went to find Keifer.
She kept calling my name but I ignored her and left the room.

I wish we all could just go back to the way we were. I wish Jay could forgive us all. I really miss that innocent and kind version of Jay so much.
