When Christmas break came Harry and Ginny were nervous. They had made up and were friends but they didn't know how to be friends under everyone's watchful eye. Sure they could hide in cupboards to make out but with RON AND HERMIONE it was pretty much impossible.
So they sat on opposite sides of the compartment restraining themselves from flirting. If anyone else noticed the tense atmosphere they didn't say anything.
The train ride was spent with Ron and Hermione openly flirting and Hinny attempting to be more discreet. When they arrive at 9 3/4 Harry had never been more relived. He had no idea how much longer he could've kept away from Ginny and secretly cursed her for being so damm adorable.
