The house felt too quiet.

QT stood in the doorway, watching as the black van disappeared down the drive, carrying all seven of her husbands to their overnight performance. She waved until the taillights vanished, her hand lingering in the air long after they were gone.

She turned back to the empty house, her hand instinctively resting on her growing belly. The twins fluttered gently, as if sensing her unease.

"Well, it's just us now," she whispered, forcing a smile.

The Day Alone

The day stretched ahead, filled with plans to keep her mind occupied. She attempted to read, but the words blurred. She tried to watch a drama, but the plot couldn't hold her attention. Even her favorite music felt hollow without the boys' harmonies filling the space.

By afternoon, she found herself rearranging the nursery for the third time that week. She moved the cribs slightly, adjusted the mobile, and folded tiny clothes that had already been folded.

Her phone buzzed with messages from the boys, each checking in, sending love, and reminding her to rest.

Namjoon: "Remember, baby girl, rest is important. We're just a call away."

Jin: "Eat something delicious. I left your favorite snacks in the pantry."

Jungkook: "Miss you already. The bed feels empty without you."

She smiled at their messages, her heart swelling with love. Yet, the ache of their absence lingered.

Evening Melancholy

As night fell, the house grew colder, the silence more profound. QT curled up on the couch, wrapped in a blanket that still carried the scent of her husbands. She tried to sleep, but the emptiness beside her was too much.

She reached for her phone, her fingers trembling slightly.

The FaceTime Call

The screen lit up with seven familiar faces, each in their hotel room, smiles breaking across their features as they saw her.

"Baby girl!" they chorused.

Tears welled up in her eyes. "I miss you all so much."

"We miss you too," Namjoon said softly. "Tell us about your day."

She recounted her attempts to stay busy, her voice quivering. "I just... the house feels so empty without you."

Jimin's eyes glistened. "We're right here, love."

"Let's stay on the call until you fall asleep," Yoongi suggested.

They agreed, each taking turns to talk, sing softly, and share stories. QT nestled into her pillow, the sound of their voices wrapping around her like a warm embrace.

As her eyes fluttered closed, she whispered, "I love you all."

"We love you more," they replied in unison.

The Doctor's Appointment

The next morning, QT was greeted by the Bangtan mothers, their faces alight with joy and anticipation. They accompanied her to her doctor's appointment, their presence a comforting balm.

During the ultrasound, the room filled with awe as the twins' images appeared on the screen.

"They're growing beautifully," the doctor announced.

The mothers exchanged teary smiles, holding QT's hands.

After the appointment, they treated her to lunch, sharing stories and laughter, their bond strengthening.

Reunion

That evening, the boys returned, their arms open wide as QT rushed into their embrace.

"I missed you all so much," she murmured.

"We missed you more," Hoseok replied, kissing her forehead.

They spent the night curled together, the house once again filled with love, laughter, and the promise of the family they were building.
