I never was apart of any "circle". Every time I would find a friend, my parents--um... my mom and stepfather--would move to a state far away. Of course, I never really stayed in touch with anybody either. So I can't exactly say I have a best friend... or any friend for that matter. I bet everone has forgotten about me by now. And by everyone... I mean like 3 people... in three different places... across the country. We just moved Portland. Not my first choice, but as long as I don't have to move again, I can deal with it. Well, my parents say that we're here stay. I'm going to finish my last year of high school here. Yup. It'll be my first day of school in a week, after orientation. "Just before we get to our house...." Mom said, "you need to know..." Then Lucas cut her off immediately, saying, "That we're here to stay. Not going any where..." He sucked at lying... and I could tell that he was surely hiding something. "Mom! Are we seriously staying?" Ross asked after he looked up from his tablet. Jeez... sometimes I think he loves the game more than us. Ross is my little brother... one of my little brothers. The second one's name is Ryan. He's a little devil--I mean.... angel. "Yes, Ross.... This is our permanent home." Mom smiled. Ugh. Give me a break. "That's what you guys said about the last two homes!" Ryan yelled. Oh Jesus... here we go again. I quickly put my earphones on and blasted music as high as it can possibly go. Okay, Portland.... AKA: my new permanent home.... I hope you're not as bad as the place we stayed.... I thought as Lucas made a sharp turn into the road of our new home.
