BZZZT—BOOM!
Lázaro barely twisted out of the way as Lucius' blade sliced through the air where his torso had been a second ago. Even with Zommari's speed, he was struggling. This wasn't normal.
Lucius was moving way too freaking fast. It was as if he was bending space in order to speed up even more. This wasn't just Sonído.
It was way more than that.
He was bending space to achieve this level of speed. Lázaro wasn't a betting man, but if he were to guess...
Gabriel had decided to awaken the most broken power known to man. For fuck's sake, how the fuck does one justify Resurrección and Shikai at the same time?
What next, Segunda Etapa with Bankai...?
Oh god, no.
The Nephilim ceiling rooftop was truly far above average Hollows, yet that ceiling was still below his majesty.
That wasn't glazing. His majesty's power was just that powerful. Last he checked, his majesty had started to make multiple hands and mouths on his body to shoot Kido spells while he himself focused on fighting.
Even making a dozen or so clones that could do the same thing. Truly a horrifying thought. The only real issue would be that it required a lot of Reiatsu. However, that could also be fixed with his majesty's technique.
Man always had the equivalent of like six Senzu Beans on him at all times. So, unless the person he was fighting had some busted power like control over names or fire that could burn fire, he would be fine.
He might even find a way to kill them somehow. His majesty's power almost seemed demonic in nature—there was nothing he couldn't destroy.
Enough glazing his majesty. Back to the battlefield.
Lázaro blurred across the battlefield, trying to create distance, but—
BZZZT—BOOM!
Lucius was already there.
"You're quite the persistent one," Lucius said coolly, effortlessly dodging Lázaro's retaliatory swipe.
The Arrancar gritted his teeth. Fuck this guy. He was too calm. Too composed. Like he knew he had already won and was just indulging Lázaro for fun.
He needed to steal something big—something that could turn the tables.
Lucius' divine skill. He was going to pull a devious lick.
Lázaro knew what it was called.
"Eternal Divide."
A skill that cut through any type of defense, reducing all things to their truest division—whether it was matter, energy, or space.
That was his golden ticket.
He just needed one opening.
One chance to pull off this lick.
BZZZT—BOOM!
Lázaro lunged forward, deliberately overextending, letting Lucius' blade carve into his shoulder.
The pain was immediate, but the reward?
Worth it.
He felt it—Eternal Divide sinking into his very being.
And now? It was his.
Lucius flicked the blood off his blade, unimpressed. "I do not like having lesser beings' blood on my body."
