I went to the study room first thing the next morning and Jun was seated at the table with his feet propped up, head lobbing to the side as he fought sleep. He had a bag of takeout in front of him.

He didn't notice me walk in so I walked up to the table and pushed his feet off. He jumped up, almost tumbling to the floor. I laughed. "I don't want your feet stench on my notes."

He sighed and rubbed his head. "Ji-wu had me up most of the night trying to make me explain how I made a better score than her on the last tests."

"Why get here so early if you're so tired?" I asked, taking the seat at the head of the table, near the seat he sat in.

"Ah," he grabbed the takeout bag in front of him and slid it to me. "Tteokbokki."

I raised an eyebrow. "I told you not to worry about it."

"I didn't buy anything extra, it's just what I didn't eat." Jun cleared his throat. "I heard...from Se-hyeon that you don't eat much outside of school so I thought I'd help out. Don't eat it if you don't want it, I'll give it to Ji-wu ." He looked away from me, suddenly embarrassed.

"What are you? A softie?" I teased and kicked his foot.

"No," Jun started, "We'd no longer be a study group if you starved to death or something."

I smiled. "Thanks."

He nodded and suddenly, the study room door opened. Se-hyeon walked in. The first thing I noticed was his face, it was riddled with bruises and bandages that hadn't been there the last time I saw him. I stood up and rushed over to him. "What the hell happened?"

"Nothing, don't worry." He pushed my hand away from his face.

"Hey, what happened?" I asked again, using one of my hand to hold his down and the other to check out his face.

He sighed. "That asshole saw me and attacked, Ga-min helped me fight him. I'm fine."

"I'll kill him." I turned to Jun who was also on his feet now. "You'll help me kill him."

Jun nodded. "Who?"

"It's not a big deal, but listen," Se-hyeon grabbed both of my hands and held them. "Ga-min's mother is coming today to transfer him to another school."

"What?" Jun and I yelled in unison.

"She's on the way to the vice principal now, we need to stop her."

I nodded. Yoon Ga-min is not leaving Yuseong Tech, not if I could help it.

After finding Ji-woo and Hee-won, we all stood outside of the principals office peaking through the window to try and grasp the situation.

"Is he really leaving? They're even talking to the principal." Hee-won sighed nervously.

"This is why he should've joined us for tteokbokki yesterday," Ji-woo said.

"We don't know what's going to happen yet," I mumbled, silently praying for the best outcome.

"We're at Yuseong Tech, where the worst students stay." Se-hyeon said suddenly. We all looked at him.

"So?" Jun asked and Se-hyeon sighed.

"Would any school accept a student from our school? Most high school have a different curriculum from ours so it's not easy to process a transfer. The only other option is another technical school, Segeong is the only option." Se-hyeon looked at me, noticing my worry about that school. "Due to his grades, he'd never get in."
