"Are you trying to get us killed?" I looked at Se-hyeon with wide eyes and he nodded, turning to Hee-won.
"We can't go into the disciplinary committee room." He said, trying to keep a polite expression on his face. Hee-won sighed.
"Why not?" Ga-min asked.
I looked at him. "It's the disciplinary committee room."
"So, what about it?"
I shot him a closed-mouth smile and patted his shoulder. "Disciplinary committee bad...we want life." I tried to dumb down the situation but he still looked around me at Se-hyeon for a better explanation.
"Right," Hee-won said, "the disciplinary committee is a bit..."
Ga-min leaned in towards her. "Why?"
Se-hyeon sighed. "The disciplinary committee is basically a gang approved by the school. They're allowed to act like thugs while controlling the bad kids."
"Most kids take the long route to class just to avoid that room." I added.
Ga-min nodded. "Ah," then, he stood to his feet. "Let's go."
"What?" I practically yelled. "Are you insane?"
Ga-min ran out of the room with Hee-won following close behind. I sighed and moved to follow them as well but Se-hyeon grabbed my wrist to pull me back. I winced and turned to him, causing his to quickly let go of my wrist and apologize. "Sorry."
"Are you okay?" I asked, wondering why he wasn't following after his new found best friend.
He nodded. "I just wanted to ask you if we could talk after all this."
My heart sunk. I hated those words and I had a feeling I knew exactly what he wanted to talk about but I asked anyways. "About what?"
His eyes lingered on mine. "How do you show people that you're there for them?"
"Me?" I asked, pointing to myself. Se-hyeon nodded. "Uhm, well, I usually touch their arm or something. Why?"
He shook his head. "I just..." he trailed off, "never mind let's go make sure Ga-min doesn't get himself killed." He forced a smile and as he walked past me, his hand brushed mine. I felt like it had been intentional but I didn't say anything as I followed him out of the room.

We ended up standing at the staircase and watching the Disciplinary Committee from afar. At first, the noises coming from inside the room seemed to be in Ga-min's favor but after a while more members went inside and we could tell that Ga-min was struggling.
Se-hyeon turned to Hee-won. "Let's stage a fight to get the attention away from Ga-min."
Hee-won's eyes widened a bit. "Me?" She looked at me.
Se-hyeon nodded. "The disciplinary committee comes out whenever there's commotion so let's start a fight so that Ga-min can escape."
"Oh, okay." Hee-won looked terrified.
"If I go there," Se-hyeon pointed towards the committee room, "yell after me saying: Hey, you fucker!"
Hee-won's eyes widened more. "Me?"
"Why? What's wrong?" Se-hyeon asked.
"She doesn't curse." I explained. "I'll do it."
"You don't curse?" He asked Hee-won and looked at me. "They won't believe we're fighting, they'll just laugh."
I sighed. "Well, she's not going to do it so-"
"y/n?" I looked up at my name and found myself face to face with Lee Ji-wu.
