The universe stirs.

Somewhere in the vastness of eternity, a thread tightens—delicate yet unbreakable. As if something long-awaited is about to begin.

Jimin has always known silence. The kind that hums beneath the stars, vast and unbroken. The kind that lingers between moments, between thoughts, between heartbeats.

Angels do not experience longing. Not truly. Yet something within him aches, a quiet absence he cannot name. A feeling that he has been waiting for something—someone—without ever knowing who.

Then, a whisper—not a sound, but a shift in the air. A feeling, like the universe has exhaled.

And then—

There.

She moves like starlight, golden hair catching the glow of a sky untouched by time. Her very presence bends the world around her, subtle but undeniable.

Jimin should not feel breathless. Angels do not breathe.

Yet something inside him stirs, trembles. As if his very being recognizes hers. As if her existence has been written into his soul long before this moment.

And then she lifts her gaze.

Her eyes—deep, endless—reflect the light of the moon, as if she carries a piece of the night sky within her. A glow surrounds them both, faint, weightless, a secret the universe has yet to whisper.

The distance between them is meaningless.

Jimin doesn't know her name.

But he knows this:

He has spent lifetimes waiting for her.

The song has begun.

Not in any way that could be heard, but felt—a vibration in the very air, a pulse that lingers between the stars. Jimin feels it, though he does not understand. It hums in the spaces between his breaths, like something ancient, stirring, coming to life.

A subtle change, a shift in the cosmos, and yet—everything is different.

He doesn't know what this song is, but he knows it is theirs. His and hers, woven together like a melody that has waited for lifetimes to be sung. Each note is a whisper from the depths of the universe, carrying with it the weight of time, of love, of longing.

Jimin's heart beats in time with it, though angels do not know such things. His soul trembles, as if the song has always been inside him, waiting for the moment it could finally be heard.

And then, there she is again.

Elara. Her presence like a dream, shimmering in the starlight. The song is in her eyes—those endless, moonlit depths. In the way she moves, like time itself bends when she takes a step. He doesn't need to hear it to know it's the same song. It is her, and he is it.

The song that has waited. The song that has begun.
