Now, Yunjin was left alone with her thoughts.
She takes this time to think about what her next move will be with the play and all.
Ultimately, she settles on focusing on healing before thinking of anything else.
The sudden burst of the door crashed the silence inside the empty infirmary. Yujin and the others had burst in.
Weeping as if Yunjin had died.
How dramatic.
At times like this, Yunjin appreciates her teammates for being extra.
For being goofy and loud.
Times like this when she needed her mood to be lifted.

It was weird.
To Chaewon, it did feel weird.
She clutched the script in her hands as she stood in the middle of the stage, trying her best to act out what she was reading on the paper.
But it was weird.
It felt weird being alone onstage. It felt weird hearing the elegant and fairytale-like music echoing throughout the auditorium, but there wasn't a specific redhead there.
It felt weird saying the words out loud, letting her voice bounce around the many walls of the auditorium, and not hearing a response back.
Chaewon was used to this. Usually, she'd be fine rehearsing alone. She has done this countless times.
Most of the time, she would even be enjoying it. Not having anyone to rehearse with, not having an incompetent partner to fuck up the flow.
She enjoyed having much time to herself.
But this time, it felt weird. For her, something was off. She didn't like how she could only hear her voice saying the lines. She didn't like that there was no one in front of her acting out the scenes with such unmeasurable confidence.
She didn't like hearing the music in the background, but her rehearsal felt incomplete. She didn't like how empty the auditorium felt... even if she knew the others were just doing their own work backstage, stitching up costumes, fixing the neverending wires that were just sprawled across the auditorium floor.
She knew the others were there. Everywhere. She knew Sieun was watching her along with Sunghoon and Soobin somewhere in the seats, but...
The auditorium felt so cold. So bland...
So big.
There was so much space for some reason.
It felt empty.
Chaewon tries to shrug off how weird everything feels. She tries to shrug off that weird feeling crawling behind her whole body.
She reads the next line on her script, looks up, and looks at no one in particular before she tries to speak. She had read the script over and over before, but as soon as she said the first word to her line, she forgot the following few words, and all she could do was let out a frustrated grunt.
As if on cue, the music stops, and one of the lights turns on.
Sieun is already standing in front of the stage, staring at Chaewon with an unreadable expression.
The short-haired girl sighs. She tries to play it off, acting like she just needs a break as she tries to smoothen out the script she had crumpled with both hands.
She didn't mean to crumple it. She unconsciously did it out of frustration.
"Are you doing alright? You seem so... bothered."
