The redhead sighs.
"I just... I just really think I can do it."
"If you're saying that just so you could see Chaewon, I won't believe you."
With that, Yunjin drops the subject.
Her heart aches up to this day.
Despite this, she wanted to go. She wants to be there. She wants to attend and rehearse like nothing happened. She's doing it out of guilt, but she's doing it for herself.
Maybe performing in SCE Academy for the very last time can help her move on. Maybe this performance can give her a better closure than when she left years before.
Maybe this time, when she leaves once more, she doesn't have to yearn for Chaewon anymore. Perhaps she would be able to leave her feelings as the curtain falls at the end of the play.
Maybe this time, she will be able to accept that Chaewon can never be hers. Chaewon can never be someone who will be in her life forever.
That she won't be the one to stay even after she leaves.
That she won't ever carry Chaewon's heart with her once more when she leaves for good.
Yunjin doesn't ever want to treat this moment as a chance for her to redeem herself to Chaewon.
At first, she did...
But it was clear as day what she can and cannot have.
This is the moment where she lets everything go—the past and the future that could have been but can never be.
This is her goodbye.
"Kazuha," Yunjin calls out as she stares at the ceiling.
Kazuha hums.
"Grant this as my last wish and favor."
Yunjin turns to look at Kazuha. The younger girl's brows were furrowed, confused, and concerned all at once.
"What?"

"Sieun, someone's knocking on the door," Soobin calls out to the president from backstage. He sounded annoyed.
Sunghoon was the first to come out from backstage. He had an eyebrow raised as he saw Soobin with his arms crossed.
"Did we forget to hang the sign outside?"
"No! I did it myself! It clearly said that no one else can enter!" Sunghoon could only scratch his head at Soobin's reaction.
It seems he was close to crashing out. Well, he has been very stressed for the past week. There were things he needed to do outside of the theater club. The student council was relentless in bossing its members around.
No one can really complain about it, of course. They all knew they would be busy because of the upcoming event. Everything needed to be in order. No mistakes should be made.
Before Soobin can even say a word out of annoyance, Sieun finally comes out from backstage.
She seemed annoyed as well, and that was enough for Soobin not to say a word. They were both equally stressed.
Whoever was outside decided to knock once more, and the two boys almost saw a vein pop on Sieun's neck.
"Open that damn door already." The president said in a tired voice.
It was Sunghoon who rushed to unlock and open the door.
Sieun was so ready to fight and argue with someone but no one could have prepared them for who they would be seeing.
