"Such as..."
Irritation started to build up in her intestines. Was there really necessary to explain every single detail to this girl? "Whatever with even a hint of significance. Runic magic, curses, even some parts of history of magic, if you deem it fit. Bring it all to me and I shall go through them one by one."
"But how will I even know what's important and what's not?! To me, everything is new! I didn't even know magic existed until a few hours ago!"
Useless. Absolutely useless.
"Then, my darling friend" said Viktoria, snippy tone turning sassy "will go to the other students around campus and start extracting information. They already know of us, after the whole fiasco at the sorting ceremony, and it is a human's nature to be curious. So you may as well start taking advantage of their curiosity, no?"
"Yea, yea. Fine. Jeez. I'll try to be useful. But aren't you exaggerating a little? Didn't the headmage say he'll look into it?"
"If you expect me to sit prettily with my hands crossed and trust a masked fae that goes by the name of Crowley , you are gravely mistaken. Besides, you are familiar with the ways of this world, are you not? You were not at all startled by the floating square thing in the sorting room!"
"Fine, FINE! I will! But don't expect to just sit quietly with your nose buried deep in your books all day. I will start learning everything I can and report back to you, but in exchange you'll have to learn the way of this world as well! If you start another argument because of my choice of style I'll lose my mind!"
"Speaking of clothes..." Viktoria's spine straightened, taking a step closer to Ann as she fixed the girl with her eyes. "Had that weasel from earlier not spoken something about uniforms? Do you have such a thing in the first place?"
"Hey! Don't call him a weasel." If she didn't know any better, she'd have said Ann cared about the annoying little thing, judging by her tone. "And no, I have no such thing on me."
"Hm... then I shall acquire a set immediately." Viktoria turned around leaving Ann behind in the abandoned building.
"Hey, wait! You need to help me clean this up so we can sleep!"
This made Viktoria pause, half turning around and looking over her shoulder at the girl inside. "Oh, I believe I'd only get in the way, darling. You were raised without magic, correct? Then you should have no problem at all cleaning by hand."
"What- YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO CLEAN?!"
"Why would you learn to run for miles when you have horses doing it for you? It's the same with magic, darling. Nobody actually needs to know how to do tasks by hand unless they have no other option." She said, as if talking to a child, and turned around.
"Hey wait! But you-!"
"Oh, look at the time, gotta get going before the store closes."
"You don't even know if there is a store!" Ann's voice echoed in the cold air of night with no other set of ears to fall upon.

There was a store, Viktoria found out later.
An already closed store, in fact. 'Mr S's Mystery Shop'.
That didn't seem suspicious at all.
As she passed by a window, she stopped in her tracks to look at herself, for there were no people in the academy's hallways at the moment, all of them having already gone to their dorms.
Her first thought was: Ugh. Just in what state had she ended up in?
As she flicked the dust off her dress, running her hand in wide semi arcs eventually when her patience began to thin, her muscles completely stiffened.
