It was the 8th of December and a day off for Aabhipsha. She was in the cafe sipping a cappuccino and scrolling through her phone, trying to see when dr. Shruti will reopen her clinic. Keshav sat across her also looking in and occasionally biting the freshly baked cookies.
"Kuch mila?" He asked tossing the piece of Almond cookie into his mouth. "Nhi" Aabhipsha replied, settling her cup down. He let out a sigh.
They spent some more time in the cozy cafe before paying the bill and leaving.
Aabhipsha's p.o.v
I tightened the scarf around me as we both walked down the road. It was a day off for both of us and he said we hung out to refresh my mind. I was silently grateful.
"Kah jare ab?" I asked him, he tilted his head and questioned back "tumhe kaha Jana hai?"
"Mujhe kya pata? Tum laye ho, ab leke chelo kahi" I rolled my eyes playfully at him.
"Hmm, movie dekhne chale?" He looked at me. "Konsi movie?" I glanced back. "How about Binodini?"
That's a good one.
We both started walking towards the Binodini theatre after I agreed. The theatre wasn't far away from the cafe we were in just now. I've wanted to watch this film for a long time. Acting was always a comforting subject to me. To think I'll be able to know about the very person who started it all for us sent chills down my spine.
Soon we reached there, and got our tickets. Keshav was goofing around like always making people look at us weirdly. Ugh! I hate this. I smacked him and whispered in his ears how uncomfortable I fell when people judge me. He stopped instantly and apologized saying he just wanted to make me happy.
Awe, now I feel bad. He was just trying. I gave him a small smile and thanked him. We started walking towards the haul.
The movie was great. But for some reason it reminded me of someone. It reminded me of Shruti. It took me back to the day we met. The day she...
But then an overwhelming fear grasped me. What if she actually does not remember me anymore?
Keshav must have sensed my discomfort while walking out of the haul. "Are you okay?" He gently placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah..ig" I fumbled.
"Wanna go on a ride?" He knew exactly what I needed other than a shot. "Deal"
We almost jogged back to our house to take the bike out before meeting in front of our workshop.
We fist bumped before pulling the helmet down and roaring the engine to life.
"How do ya feel!?" Keshav shouted as he overtook me, I ain't letting him win no way. I sped up and overtook him "will feel better after I beat you".
We probably drove around the whole town for hours before coming back to my place. "I'll take my leave now" Keshav said as he pulled down the glass of his helmet. "Bye" I said with a small smile.
The night went stress-free and most importantly "alcohol free"
I was under my cozy blankets by now and thinking about the whole day. It was refreshing to get a change of schedule sometimes. I decided to text Keshav.
To Keshav

To Keshav
Yes my knight. And I also might slay you with my sword if you don't stop mocking your princess.
From Keshav
Apologies princess. You sound more like a knight yourself. I'm scared of you now. I shall take my leave for I feel sleepy
To Keshav

To Keshav
Bhak! Good night.
From Keshav
Good night.
I put my phone down smiling widely. Stupid him. Always messing around. 'gadha hai ek number ka' I thought to myself.
I love how we always goof around even tho I'm technically his boss and he's my assistant. We are more like besties to each other. I remember that one time we went on a shoot in Darjeeling and extended our trip. Our clients went back, but we stayed just to play snowball fight. Yeah, we were always goofing around when it was just the two of us.
I kind of miss those days. I wasn't so messed up back then.
I toss and turn giggling like a teenager thinking about all the funny, goofy moments I shared with Keshav. Surely my best friend. I don't know when I fell asleep but after a long time it was a relaxing one. Maybe not completely but still better than before. Keshav is a wizard for sure.
K sup guys.. so actually my phone broke after it fell from my hand 🙃 so this update was really late and also my school started so the updates are going to be kinda late so I'm really sorry for that but I'll try my best. Also what do you think about this chapter? What do you think about Aabhipsha's and Keshav's hangout? Also if you've got ideas for the next chapter you're free to share it in the comment section :)
