I passed the packet back to Mrs White.

"Okay Mr Irwin. Affinity can be a handful. She needs help with a lot of things, eating, sleeping, getting dressed and undressed and bathing. Do you think you could do that?" She asked me.

"Yes. I would love to help her and love her" I smiled. She smiled back.

"Great to hear. Usually people come in to adopted 7-14 year olds that can be independent" I nodded. I get it. But I wanted someone who needed help because I wanna feel like a real father.

"Thank you Mrs White. I'll make sure Affinity is safe with me" she grinned.

"That means a lot Mr Irwin. I trust you with her" I nodded and grabbed her folders and walked out to see Luke swaying back and forth with a sleeping Affinity on his chest.

"Ready to go guys?" I asked once I got over to then. They nodded and we walked out to the car.I got in and it went like,

Me and Calum in the way back. Michael got shot gun and Luke and Affinity got the middle row. He carefully set Affinity in her car seat and buckled her in.

"Shes so cute" Calum whispered to me. I nodded in response. She had her thumb in her mouth and her legs crossed.

"So who's room is she taking?" Michael asked.

"My room. She could sleep with me" Luke said.

"I'm the father, so my room" I said. They nodded.
