"I felt like I wanted to live every time I was with you."

- SIX YEARS LATER -
"I have your towel and I've put it on ice and everything. It's colder than where the polar bears live."
"Because global warming is messing with their habitat. And I told you, you can chill mom. It was only a run."
"But... for an hour? Aren't you tired? Are you feeling lightheaded-"
"I'll get off so you stop nagging me but. I'm fine mom. This heart is pretty strong."
"I know, I know," Nair sighed patting Junya's sweaty face. "But a mother never stops worrying."
It had been six years since he had his second heart transplant. After complications and a surgery that took just a bit over seven hours, Junya had survived.
Recovery was harsh and he was still in hospital for months to recover and make sure his body didn't reject his heart for the second time.
If it had, Junya had decided not to go for a third transplant.
It felt like everyone was holding their breath until the specialists announced that Junya's body had accepted the heart.
And after, Junya felt like his life had started all over again. In the following six years he had spent his life doing things he previously couldn't. He could finally work on building an athletic body with abs because he could finally work out without becoming sick. He could learn to surf in Australia. He could walk across the Great Wall of China-
He could do anything.
Every single time he realised, he could do anything, it was like the air became cleaner. Junya felt like at the age of nineteen he was born again. He was finally learning what it meant to live. ...
Junya came down the stairs dressed in his comfortable clothes with a small suitcase. He was going on an impromptu business trip with his dad.
He had no interest in the family business but sometimes his father insisted on him coming to business meetings to show face.
"Oh my gosh, my son is so handsome," Nair gushed kissing his cheeks. "So so handsome."
"Has dad gone already? I don't know why he wants me to come."
"Because this little bastard is capricious. He said he'd be the director of the new department if he saw you."
"He wants a random chaebol that doesn't know anything to sit there and he'll be convinced," Junya asked with a raised eyebrow. "I'm surprised you're indulging this. Sounds like a scam."
"He is a scammer. A brilliant scammer nonetheless."
Junya knew his father had been trying to lock down the elusive Angel for the newly formed New Technology department in the Park group.
