"Do you always have security when you go anywhere?"
"Sorry, it's my dad- I told them not to stick too closely but, they listen way more to him... I'm sorry Raphael."
"It's just... different."
Truthfully it was a bit uncomfortable.
Raphael had never experienced hanging out with someone with a security detail.
Junya and his mom were pretty excited that Raphael wanted to take Junya somewhere outside the house. Raphael just knew it was going to be some bullshit when they both spoke about it in hushed voices to Junya's dad.
He knew it was going to get even more cumbersome when the man spoke on the phone phone and shortly after five security guards came.
All Raphael wanted to do was see an exhibition.
It was a formula one exhibition that was only going to be there for that week. Raphael thought it would kill two birds with one stone to go and see it with Junya - he was fully embracing Sabrina's suggestion.
At this point, what did he have to lose?
Plus... it would count as a tutorial expense so he could see it for free. Just the admission ticket was like twenty dollars - there was a better chance of rain in hell than Raphael paying for that.
"Alex... please, stand way more back-"
"Just pretend I'm not here, young master," the man smiled kindly completely ignoring Junya. "You two can enjoy the exhibition SAFELY with me standing this close."
Junya sulked but chose to ignore his bodyguard.
He knew when he was being teased.
Alex was the head of Junya's personal security detail. He knew him since he was a baby and he always teased him whenever he complained.
Alex just couldn't take him seriously.
Not the cute Junya whose diapers he had changed- he was right there with his mother when Junya took his first steps.
He would do anything to make sure he's safe. Even if the boy sulked about it,
"Oh man, they have a true to size replica of the Red Bull R19 - it's an actual beauty," Raphael commented whistling. He was practically deconstructing the car in his mind- he couldn't help it when he was so close to such a legendary car.
Even if it was just a replica.
Junya was more interested in Raphael in that moment. The previous tutorial sessions, he noticed he didn't really seem passionate about the things he spoke about. His tone was always steady and clearly bored.
Right now, Raphael's eyes really lit up in front the car. Junya didn't know anything about formula one or cars or machines but he could tell this was something Raphael was excited about.
