No one says a word after Yuuya speaks, all looking at the extra appendages swaying stiffly. His ears twitching slightly while his tail wraps around his leg nervously. This silence last for what feels like an eternity until a loud shriek stuns everyone, "Ahhhh! So fluffy!" Annamaria yells out and swiftly runs past everyone, her brothers failing to catch her in time. "Wait Anna! It's not safe!" Quinn yells, sadly it was too late. The moment she steps foot into the room, the crystal on the wall glows red. "Unauthorized life form detected. Initiating security measures." A red magic circle appears under Annamaria's feet, her family watching in horror while screaming out her name. A flash of red light hits everyone's eyes, blinding them. Only when it dies down do they move their arms down, dreading the worst. The sight shocks them as they see Yuuya kneeling down holding Annamaria in his arms, his clothes covered in soot while his body is smoking as if he was struck by lightning. The magic circle under them disappears as the mysterious voice rings out after a beep, "Authorized personnel wounded. Initiating recovery measures." Another magic circle, this time white, appears under them. As it glows, Yuuya's body glows along with it and the smoking dies down to nothing, even his clothes were patched up. As soon as the magic circle disappears, Yuuya finally looks up and stares at the frightened little girl in his arms. She held onto his arms in a death grip as she looks up at him. Through his harsh breathing he asks, "Are you *pant* okay?" Annamaria stares at him in silence for a couple of minutes, slightly worrying the beast-man before her eyes start to water, tears falling down her face as she bawls out, "I'm sorry! *hiccup* I-I didn't *hiccup* know th-that would h-*hiccup*-happen!" Yuuya gives her a small smile as he rubs her back comfortingly and gently shushes her. "Hey hey it's okay. I'm fine. No one knew this was gonna happen." The group outside watches the exchange with mixed emotions. Sam, Damian, and Gunter sigh in relief knowing both occupants were fine. Beatrice and Theophilos, who have been gripping onto each other the moment they saw their daughter in danger, also sigh in relief and even smile at the scene. Phillip and Quinn breathe in an attempt to calm their racing hearts, still in shock over Yuuya's secret and now how they almost lost their sister. Zacharias is the only one with a death glare and the first to yell out, "You bastard! Let go of her right now!" Balls of electricity appears around him as he growls in protective anger. Yuuya looks up nervously and carefully puts Annamaria down, his ears flattened on his head in sadness. However, the little girl was having none of that and proudly stands between Yuuya and the group outside, specifically in front of her angered older brother, with her arms out acting as a shield and a glare of her own, her tears long gone. "Stop it Zachery! He didn't hurt me and you shouldn't be so mean to him!" Her response stuns him enough to stop his magic power from appearing, the balls of electricity disappearing along his anger. Quinn decides to step in, "But Anna, he's not human." Her glare swiftly moves to her eldest brother, still standing her ground, "So what? Just because he's different doesn't mean he's bad! Plus!" She moves to the side and points to his ears and tail, still looking so serious, "He's so fluffy!" A few crickets go by before Gunter and Beatrice burst out laughing, finding her reasoning so hilarious. "Hahaha! Well *ahem* no more needs to be said, he's fluffy." Beatrice says as she tries to calm her laughter down. Yuuya's cheeks reddened as he holds his tail tighter, finding all the attention a little embarrassing. Thankfully the voice draws everyone's attention again, "Recovery measures: Successful. Would you like to register unauthorized personnel to the system to gain access into this room?" Yuuya looks around him, still wondering where the voice was coming from. "Umm hello? Are you...talking to me?" A ding is his answer before the voice replies, "Correct. Would you like to register the unauthorized personnel to the system?" It asks again, still confusing the beast-man. "Ummm." He looks over at the group with shrugged shoulders, unsure how to answer. Beatrice responds, "We can't enter the room unless you give us access. Up to you." He looks back at Annamaria, worried that the mysterious voice will try to attack her again if he refuses. "Umm yes please." The crystal on the wall glows green and shines a holographic screen in front of the beast-man, surprising him in the process. "Please enter individual's full name." He looks at the screen and sees a blank space with a white cursor, waiting for his response. He looks down at Annamaria and asks, "How do you spell your name?" She explains to him as he enters it in, unsure what to do next. Thankfully, the screen loaded the moment he finished typing in her name. "Individual's name acknowledged. Processing new information." A few seconds go by before a ding goes off, "New information processed. Annamaria Tabitha Pandaramn has been added to the system. Initiating permission mark print." This confuses the pair until her right hand glowed and revealed a mark that resembled Yuuya's mark on his chest, the fan of tails replaces by a single long fluffy looking tail. Once the mark stopped glowing, it looked faded that resembles a scar. Annamaria awes over the mark and lightly traces it with her finger, Yuuya sighs in relief until he hears someone clear their throat, making him look up and see everyone crowding around the entrance, "Mind letting us in, son?" Gunter asks politely.
One by one, Yuuya adds each name on the screen, thus adding them to the system. Once each person received the mark, they entered the room. Sam and Damian rush to Yuuya's side, checking him over for any injuries and hugging him once they deemed him healthy enough. Beatrice, Theophilos, and their sons rush to Annamaria's side, also checking her for any injuries and squeezing her in their arms. Gunter watches both groups from the side until he decided enough time has passed. He clears his throat to catch everyone's attention. "Now that that's out of the way. Let's get down to business." Gunter starts off the conversation by explaining to everyone how he knew of Yuuya's true identity, the poor beast-man's face grows pale once he hears his explanation before Sam explains to him about his uncle telling the Guildmaster first. Once the beast-man has calm down enough, Gunter continues to explain. He told everyone his side of the story, even though Sam, Damian, and Beatrice already knew the majority. After he was done, the entire Orion's Pax group stare at him with shocked expressions before Yuuya places his hand on his chin as he thinks out loud, "Wait...So Grace knew too...That's so cool! I didn't know there was such a thing as an information guild." His excitement over the idea of a secret organization that specializes in gathering secrets in the shadows over the fact that another person, and perhaps an entire guild, knowing his secret. Sam and Damian gave Gunter uncertain looks, Sam speaking first, "I can't believe you and Miss Grace spied on us this whole time! She seems like such a sweet lady..." Damian narrows his eyes into a glare, ready to punch the older man as he growls out, "And you were testing me during that time too! You bastard..." As they talk amongst themselves, Quinn looks to his mother, "Mother, why didn't you tell us any of this sooner? Why did you force Yuuya to change forms?" Beatrice sighs before looking at Yuuya and cutting him off, "I had to be sure. Yuuya would you have told us the truth yourself?" Yuuya opens his mouth intending to reply until the memories of Sam's village kicking him out and Damian yelling at him cross his mind, halting the words from ever leaving his mouth. Seeing him silent, she nods her head, "Just as I thought. I know some people in your life did not take to the news very well, some being extremely violent." Both Sam and Damian look away, shame written all over their faces, only confirming her suspicions. "From these experiences, there was no way you would show me your true form." She raises her arms to indicate the room, "This room has been sealed off from rest of the world. My family has tried to enter for hundreds of years with no success. Only the master of this room may enter or at least their descendants can." Yuuya looks at her in confusion. "What do you mean?" He feels dread in his heart when she smiles at him. "Only a kitsune can enter this room." His jaw drops as Zacharias slams his fist down in anger. "You can't be serious! Him!? A kitsune!? That's impossible!" He swiftly moves to Yuuya, making Damian and Sam glare warningly at him. "This-imposter! Is hardly the legendary kitsune! Just a beast-man using a magical item to sneak his way into our kingdom, our home!" He leans down into Yuuya's face, balls of electricity appearing around them. "He's just a savage. A blood thirsty savage." He states with clenched teeth. Yuuya simply looks down, depressed over his words, Sam and Damian stand in front of him, rage crossing their faces. "How dare you say that about him! He may have hidden his true identity, but he is no where near a savage!" Damian defends in a loud voice, his body glowing red as his magic slowly starts to leak out. Sam speaks next in a deathly tone, "Yuuya is the sweetest and kindest man I have ever met. He sacrificed himself for others many times, even if they don't deserve his mercy. I will not allow anyone, especially you your highness, to speak to him in such a disrespectful tone." His own body glowing blue, his normally calm demeanor gone as his tone turns venomous. Yuuya panics over their overprotectiveness and tries to intervene. "G-guys it's fine! Don't worry about me. You could get in serious trouble!" They both send him a glare that makes him gulp nervously, "What the hell are you talking about!? How could you let him talk to you like that?" Damian shouts with fire in his eyes. Sam adds in, "There's no need to be so nice to him Yuuya. Why aren't you angry or sticking up for yourself?" Sam questions worriedly but the ground under him feet has grown frozen, clearly showing how frustrated he is. Yuuya grips onto his tail and avoids their eyes, "It's...not worth it..." His defeated expression immediately extinguishes their anger, their magic slowly diminishing to nothing. Sam moves closer to the beast-man till he was close enough to place his hand on his shoulder, "It may not see like it's worth it, but you're important to us." Yuuya ears stand tall suddenly as he looks at the blue haired man, a memory crossing his mind, one where it takes him back to when he was Sakura. It was after a whole day of constant bullying, her twin sisters had watched the entire time, their frustration having reached a critical point. "Sakura! How can stand being picked on!? Don't you hate it?" She simply sighs at Ali's questions as she puts her bag down by the closet. "What's the point? They're just gonna keep picking on me...It's not worth it..." Her other twin sister seemingly appears out of nowhere right in front of her with her hands on her hips. "What are you talking about!? You are so worth it! Sakura, you're important to us." The memory ends with the three of them hugging as she silently weeps in their arms. He comes back to reality, his eyes watering at the seemingly deja vu moment before quickly wiping his eyes and giving them a teary smile, "Thanks, you guys. I'm not too worried now knowing I have you two." Both men's cheeks grow pink as they find the beast-man's words touching. Suddenly a hand raises up and the little princess yells out, "And me! You've got me too!" She moves away from her father's arms and rushes to Yuuya, giving him a hug around his waist, "Thank you for saving me. You are super strong!" Yuuya chuckles and hugs her back, his tail wagging slowly, no longer clinging onto his leg. She looks up a cheery smile and says, "Let's be friends! You can call me Anna!" His tail freezes at the mention of her nickname, his body going stiff before rubbing his head awkwardly, "Ummm if it's alright with you, can I call you Maria instead?" She gives him a confused look, making him resort to bartering, "I'll let you pet my ears and tall." The mention of touching his fluffy appendages, her smile grows wide in clear excitement and nods her head crazily. "Okay!" He leans down as she reaches up, carefully touching his tall ears twitching slightly when her hand makes contact. She giggles over his adorableness and swiftly moves behind him, seeing his tail wagging slowly, showing just how comfortable he was around her. She combs her fingers through the soft fur, making her squeal in happiness. "This is so fluffy! I wish I had a tail." Everyone chuckle at her cute comments as Phillip walks over and leans down next to his sister. "I wanna touch them too! Let me try." Yuuya gives him an uncertain look, but makes no move, not wanting the gentle brushing to stop. Thankfully, Phillip was also calm and gentle with his brushing, also marveling over the softness. "My Goddess, this is the softest material I have ever felt. You'll have to tell me what you use." The rest of the occupants watch them brush his fur, feeling slight jealousy, even the hot-headed prince. Gunter clears his throat loudly enough to catch Yuuya's attention, "You got me as well, son. There's a reason I waited till now to tell everyone here about you. You are a good man Yuuya and everyone should get the chance to know before jumping to conclusions." He pointedly looks at Zacharias and Quinn who look away guiltily before looking back at Yuuya with a warm smile, "Like I said before, you're not alone son, you've got us." Beatrice nods and says, "That's right. I did not bring you into this room to expose you and sentence you to death. You are safe here, I assure. I only brought you here to confirm a theory, which reminds me!" She walks in front of him as her daughter and youngest son slow their petting. Her smiles makes the beast-man nervous. "Would you mind taking off your shirt please?" Yuuya chokes on his spit as her husband and sons yell at her. "Mom! What the hell!?" "Mother that is so rude!" "Honey that is not appropriate." "Yeah mom! Get him to strip!" Everyone looks at Phillip for his comment who only crosses his arms with smug grin on his face. "What? I can't be the only one interested in seeing his body. I'm glad he's not human, those ears and tail are so adorable!" Yuuya could only hide behind his hands as his face burst bright red.
It took a while, but eventually Yuuya agrees to remove his shirt, but only when everyone else in the room agreed to turn around. Sam and Damian had to keep Phillip in honoring his word by standing right behind him, determined to give Yuuya his space. Yuuya shakily takes off his shirt and shows Beatrice his chest, still finding this quite awkward. She simply hums as she observes his chest, eyeing the mark closely. She raises her hand towards it, but doesn't actually touch his skin, simply traces the mark in the air. "Interesting...This is clearly the royal mark of the kitsunes." Everyone across the room try to turn their heads to take a sneak peak, but Sam and Damian remind them of their promise when they hold out their hands, one holding a ball of water while the other is a ball of fire. Quinn is the first to ask, "Are you sure mother? Is he really the one?" Beatrice stands back, allowing Yuuya to breathe again, and walks over to the group. "I'm sure. Our family may not have been able to read the relic for centuries, but one thing we were able to read was the kitsunes true mark chapter. He definitely is branded with it, he is the one from the prophecy." As they talk, Yuuya puts on his shirt, sighing as he feels his cheeks start to cool down. His ears twitch as he picks up on the conversation. "It can't be! He's probably a royal beast-man. He doesn't have nine tails like they did." Zacharias counters his mother's findings only to be shot down by his older brother, "Though it is true the kitsunes had nine tails, there's nothing in the records that indicated they always had nine tails. He could still be young and inexperienced." Phillip nods to his theory, "It would make sense, a way to camouflage from the dragons until they are fully matured and ready to fight." Gunter adds in, "It could also explain why he believes he's not a kitsune." Theophilos looks at the Guildmaster with confusion in his eyes, "Are you serious Gunter? The boy thinks he's a regular beast-man?" They all turn to Sam and Damian, hoping for some clarity. Sam speaks first, "He says he's a fox beast-man, but they don't exist. Plus! He changed into a kitsune back when my village was in trouble." Damian nods to his story and adds, "Yeah and he can use all eight magic types without breaking a sweat! Who else can do that without any magical items." Yuuya starts to grow more annoyed the longer they discuss this. After ten minutes, he had enough. "Would you guys quit it! I'm not a kitsune. I can just change into one thanks to a skill." Everyone whips their heads at him, surprise and confusion mixing into their expressions. Beatrice decides to poke the bear, "What do you mean you're not a kitsune? You just said you can change into one." Yuuya sighs and decides to show them, "Okay just watch, I can change whenever I want. You'll see it's just a skill, not because I'm part of some kind of prophecy." Yuuya closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, concentrating on centering his mana, his body starting to glow as he opens his eyes and says, "Ascension." Nothing happens, Yuuya's body starts to lose its glow. Now Yuuya is the one that is confused. "Ascension...Ascension...Ascension!" No matter how many times he said it, his body refused to change forms. His breathing starts to pick up into a panicky state the longer the skill refused to activate, Sam and Damian watch with concerned looks before going to his side, "Yuuya stop, it's not working." Sam states calmly as Damian rubs his back. "It's fine Yuuya, you don't have to show us. Just relax." They both calm their breathing loudly so that the hyperventilating beast-man would calm down. As they help him, Annamaria and Phillip go to his side to help as well while the adults discuss amongst themselves. "How peculiar. Didn't your report say that he changed into one back when that village was under attack by a multi-colored summoning stone, Orzahs?" Gunter nods in agreement as Theophilos puts puzzle pieces together in his head. "Perhaps he can only change when he or someone he cares about is in danger. Probably why he can't do it now." Zacharias rolls up his sleeves as he looks in Yuuya's direction, "I can make that happen." Quinn grips his younger brother's arm hard and glares at him, "Don't be an idiot. Even if you could draw his other form out, you are no match for him. He wields five more magical types than you and has a strong pain tolerance. I highly doubt you can give off that you're a threat to him." His brother sends him back a glare, his ego obviously hurt by his brother's words. Beatrice places her hand on Zacharias's shoulder, "Your brother is right Zacharias. It's best to let this go. I'm sure we will get the chance to see his kitsune form in the future. For now, I think I've seen and heard enough."
The adults walk over to the other group once they see Yuuya calm enough. "Yuuya, I appreciate your time here, I'm sorry I had to resort to these measures, but as I said before you are safe. You have my word no one besides everyone in this room will know of the truth, not until you're ready." She bows to him as she promises once more, "I swear my family and I will keep your secret to the grave and should you ever need us, please don't hesitate to ask us. We're more than happy to help." Theophilos and their children bow as well, flustering the beast-man, "Oh-oh! Th-thank you. I appreciate it." They stand to their full heights, she gives him a warm smile and holds out her hand, "You are welcome to come to my home whenever you wish. This room seems to only respond to you anyway, might as well use it. And you are also allowed to go through the relic if you find it useful." Yuuya takes her hand and gives a light shake, smiling happily at her, "Thank you, your Majesty. I might just take you up on that offer." She nods and lets go. "Well I believe that is all for now. It's getting late and you all had a long day. I think it's time for you three to head home. Gunter, I have a few words to say to you before you leave." Gunter gulps as Annamaria and Phillip lead Orion's Pax out. "Please, allow us to show you the way." Before they leave Yuuya grows worried as he holds his ears, "Wait! My disguise, it's still down." There were still servants and knights around the castle, leaving in this state would certainly draw attention. The voice suddenly calls out, "Would you like to activate all magical items again?" Yuuya whips his head around, still wondering where the voice was coming from. "Ummm...Yes?" A ding rings out before the crystal glows bright white, the room glowing along with it. When the light died down, everyone rub their eyes, not expecting to be blinded. The voice calls out, "Magical item activation: Successful. Have a great day." Everyone looks at each other, weirded out by the mysterious voice's sudden polite departing words. Phillip looks at the beast-man and says, "I think your stuff will work now. Give it a try." Yuuya holds his pendant, silently praying for the jewelry to work, and pours his mana into. Luckily, the pendant glows, his body changing to look human once more. Yuuya opens one eye and sneaks a peek at himself before whooping happily. "Yes! It works again!" A wave of dizziness suddenly hits him, forcing him to grab hold of the doorframe while holding a hand to his mouth. "Urgh! I think I'm gonna be sick..." Sam and Damian rush to him, each taking one his arms and slinging them over their shoulders. "I think you used too much mana again." Sam says as he grunts in effort, holding half of Yuuya's weight. Damian simply flexes his muscles as he easily holds the other half of Yuuya's weight. "I think Sam's right, probably should've taken a nap when we were in the carriage." Phillip and Annamaria watch warily as they lead them to the front of the castle where another carriage was waiting for them. The others watch the group leave as Beatrice glares at Gunter, "This incident better not happen again Gunter, I can't have the Royal Guards and Adventurer Guild fight. We can't afford any useless brawls during this time. With the revived kitsune's return, it's only a matter of time before the dragons make their first strike in centuries. I'm putting you and the Twilight Guild in charge of that man's health. Make sure no one else finds out his secret and if they do...deal with them." Gunter nods as he sweatdrops over her deathly glare, "Yes your Majesty. Yuuya will be well look after properly." He gives her a bow and quickly catches up to the departing group. Theophilos, Quinn, and Zacharias look at Beatrice, uncertainty still on their faces. "Honey, do you think this is right?" Beatrice sighs as she crosses her arms, "We have no choice but to put our trust in that man. He's our last hope against the dragons. The only one that stands a chance against them." She moves to head to her chamber, saying one last thing, "We knew this day would come, but who would've thought it would be during our generation..."
Orion's Pax make it back to the inn, the carriage driver kind enough to take them to their temporary home. Yuuya full on collapsed on the bed, his disguise long gone. The pair softly close the door as the beast-man breathe sleepily and turn their attention to the Guildmaster. "So what happens now?" Sam questions worriedly. Gunter smiles encouragingly to them and puts a hand on each of their shoulders, "Everything will be fine. Her Majesty is a good friend of mine, she'll keep her word. You three just focus on your adventures, climb up the ranks, see more of the world." He leans closer to their faces to whisper, "Show Yuuya as much as you can. The faster he learns how the world works, the better his chances at surviving will be." They both gulp and nod nervously, making him smile and give them a hard pat on their backs. Sam looks back to the door, still concerned over his friend, "Will he be alright? I know he used light magic and drank a healing potion, but he used a lot of mana. Not to mention that room's security measures attacking him..." Gunter sighs and stands to his full height, "I wouldn't be too concerned. That kid has survived worse. I'm sure he'll walk off today's events, especially with you two watching him." Damian puts his hand on Sam's shoulder, startling him in the process as he sees a rare look of comfort directed at him, "Yeah, Yuuya is strong. Even if he's sick, we'll take care of him no matter what!" He raises his fist at him with a confident smile on his face, waiting expectingly. Sam smiles back and fist bumps him, "Yeah, you're right. He's got us." Gunter smiles and starts to head to the stairwell, waving his hand behind him, "Make sure to stop by the Adventurer's Guild tomorrow, still gotta give you your reward for catching that fuckin thief and getting everyone's stuff back." Sam and Damian share of look before heading in to the room, exhaustion finally reaching into their systems. Yuuya is still sprawled on the bed, a content smile on his sleeping face.
The next day, the entire Orion's Pax adventure group wake up, including an exhausted beast-man and go about their day as usual. Grace gives them a grand feast in celebration over stopping the magic item thief, her own guild held victims of the infamous robber. Yuuya notices a letter amongst the food, his eyes searching who sent it, knowing for a fact it was not there a second ago. His eyes land on Grace who sends him a wink before attending to the other patrons. He puts a piece of bacon in his mouth before opening the envelope, sensing small traces of dark magic on the envelope that gives him some idea how it suddenly appeared. He chews on his bacon nonchalantly as he reads the contents of the letter, "Dear Yuuya, Gunter told me he told you about the Twilight Guild. I'm sorry for not saying anything sooner, just doing my job as boss of a secret organization. I promise you your secret is safe with me and the entire Twilight Guild, everyone who joins takes a vow of secrecy. We never share secrets to anyone else except to our clients, but in your case only Gunter and her Majesty will ever know. I took the liberty of removing all the spying magic items from your rooms (please don't get mad, it was when we first met and I hadn't gotten to know you yet)." Yuuya nearly spits his bacon out as bright blush blooms on his face, gaining the attention of the other two occupants who are sitting at the table. Sam and Damian raise their eyebrows at him, but continue eating when they see Yuuya waving them off, quietly letting them know he was alright. He sends a questioning, and a little angry, look at Grace as she hums softly to a song, never looking up at the disguised beast-man. Nevertheless, he continues to read, "If you ever need help you have the entire Twilight Guild by your side, you've got a lot of fans here. Anyway, I hope we can continue being friends. Sincerely your friend, Grace. P.S. I'm glad I got to meet you and I hope you and your friends will continue to stay here at my inn." The moment he finished reading the last part, the letter disappears in a puff of smoke that draws his friends' attention. Damian waves his hand in the air as he asks, "What the hell was that?" Sam coughs for a bit, not able to form words of his own. Yuuya doesn't answer and looks around, spotting Grace at the front desk as writes in the ledger. Even though she looks focused on the book, he could see her watching him from the corner of her eye. He decides to reply to her letter and pulls out his notebook, taking a page out while pulling out a pen. Sam and Damian send questioning looks at him, but simply shrug off the odd behavior and continues to eat. After they were done, they head out the door, but not before Yuuya uses his own magic to teleport the letter onto the front desk, right on the ledger that Grace was writing in. She raises an eyebrow at the sudden reply and looks up in time to see Yuuya sending her a wink as he exits. She looks around, seeing no one paying her any mind, and casually opens the envelope, reading the nicely written letter. "Dear Grace, Thank you for your letter. I'm glad to have met you too, you are so kind and amazing! Only you could pull off working at an inn during the day and working as an informant at night, that is so cool. Although, I don't appreciate the spying in my room, that was too much. But I suppose I can't blame you, I probably would have done the same thing in your position, but still! Please don't do that again. Anyway, thank you for your kind offer, it's nice knowing I can rely on so many people (yet I don't know why I have so many fans, they're the ones with the cool jobs). Thank you for having our backs. Seriously your friend, Yuuya. P.S. There are better ways in making a letter disappear instead of leaving a puff of black smoke in someone's face." Just like what happened to Yuuya, the moment she finished reading the letter disappears, however, unlike previously the letter simply turned to little sparks that disappear in the air. She chuckles at the copycat method and continues to write in her ledger, thinking to herself, "Glad I got that off my chest. That Yuuya sure is an interesting fellow."
Back with Yuuya and his friends, they arrive at the Adventurer's Guild and they moment they walk in, everyone looks up and gives them a round of applause. "There's the hero of the hour!" "Get him a drink, rounds on us!" "Way to shove it to those pompous guard jerks!" Yuuya and his friends get bombarded by all the adventurers as they try to congratulate the disguised beast-man. Thankfully, Gunter arrives and orders everyone to get back to work, smiling over how flustered the man was at all the attention. He finally gets the chance to reward Orion's Pax, honoring his word and handing Yuuya the golden monster core he promised, getting many whoops and cheers in the background. The treats keep on coming, ever since that day, Yuuya and his friends kept getting many gifts and words of encouragement from the Adventurer's Guild, citizens of Akruya, the Royal guard, and even the royal family had chipped in. Orion's Pax would spend their days either completing quests or heading to the royal castle, going back to that mysterious room to read through the large collection of books in there. Yuuya finally got the chance to read through that kitsune history book that he got on his first day in the capital, still denying the fact he may be the kitsune from the prophecy. He even took the time to read through the Grimoire of Luminosity and the Grimoire of Serenity, trying to uncover the mysteries behind the books. Two months go by, Yuuya, Sam, and Damian are still going through all the books. They had just completed an entire weeks of quests and now are just having a relaxing day going through old books. As they read, loud screams could be heard outside, along with the sensation of earthquakes occurring near them.
