I like the idea of Jailey texting a lot sooo I decided to write it !

Jake: haileyyyy
Jake: r u awake?
Jake: I literally cannot sleep
Jake: are u awakeeee? ☹️

Hailey: no im not awake

Jake: oh that's a shame..

Hailey: what's up?

Jake: like I said b4 I cannot sleep soo I thought to text you
Jake: why are you also awake? Its like 1am and we have school tomorrow?

Hailey: I could ask you the same question however for me i stayed up looking through new pieces for the music club to play

Jake: ooh have you finally decided?

Hailey: yeppp im going with the one that you and Sean liked

Jake: Omg ily never die

I had that weird feeling in my stomach. I knew he meant it as a joke but..
My thumb hovered over my phone for a bit before typing again

Hailey: haha I don't plan to anytime soon
Hailey: also Zander's song was um ngl not the best? But don't tell him that he will kill me

Jake: I KNEW IT your face screamed it when he showed you it, you looked so concerned

Hailey: lol

Jake: well, what's new?

Hailey: huh? Wdym?

Jake: well anything new going on in ur life?

Hailey: no not really haha

Jake: oh well that's a shame

Hailey: how about you?

Jake: I'm thinking of asking a girl out

And there it was. Daisy. Her name managed to dampen my mood all the time. She had the perfect life, good grades, popular and the one thing I cared about the most. Jake. She had him. I know she never meant any harm and honestly I'm not even sure if she liked him back but god. I wanted to be her. I wanted some one to like me. I just wanted Jake...

Without admitting to anything I had a like maybe very small tiny crush on Jake, every time Daisy is mentioned my heart just like..drops. I know that sounds dramatic but still.

I started sorta kinda maybe liking Jake a tiny bit when he sent a message to me after the performance and before that all of our conversations or messages sent mainly regarded the music club, nothing personal.

But after the message it all changed and we began talking MUCH more.

The message:

Jake: hey Hailey! I just wanted to tell you how proud of you I was after our performance. Your singing was beautiful and like I just wanted to tell you how proud I am that you overcame your fear, and I want you to know that it was worth it. Also thank you so much for giving me, what a 3rd chance? Singing has been my dream and I think without the club or without you I wouldn't of been able to accomplish that and I'm so so grateful for that. On a more important note, I wanted to let you know that I will be staying in the club, the club has become my family and I can't leave that but of course none of this would be true if it weren't for you so thank you.

Jake: oh ps you looked rlly pretty on stage xx

The whole time I read the message I had a wide smile across my face, not that I want to admit it but I think that's when I started catching tiny feelings for him.

Hailey: ah well I Hope
it goes well!

Jake: thankssss
Jake: soo any romantic
development recently?

Hailey: wow jake using

you could say I have a very
minor crush but that's sorta it
