Jake pov:
It was chemistry class and I was zoning out, not wanting to be there. I mean, who would? The teacher was going on and on about uh. Something. But ether way whatever they were talking about, it was boring.

"Okay class that is all, please read over the chapters 49-61, we will be starting the prac on Thursday so you have around a week to prepare. I expect each one of you to have completed the work by then. Have a great day." Sounds of shutting laptops and bags zipping snapped me out of it and I quickly got up and left, hearing my phone buzz.

It was lunch so we were technically allowed our phone to use, however it was something that if the teachers caught you playing games on, it would be taken away. I swiped up, turning the phone on and Hailey had messaged me. All she had said was "hey! If you are able to meet me in the music room? Not a club meeting btw :D"

I quickly reply with a thumbs up and head to the room, wondering what she wanted to talk about.

"And then she started screaming which honestly woke up the whole neighbourhood." "Omg really? I mean Zander is also quiet scared of spiders but-" the door creaked as I opened it and inside I saw Hailey talking to Daisy. The two stoped to look at me.

"Oh hey Jake!" Daisy smiles. "H-hi! Hi Daisy! Uh what are you doing here?" I said, putting my books down. "Oh nothing, I was just giving Hailey something, I'll be off now, see you guys!" She smiles, walking past my and out the door.

"So hails, what did you need me for?" I ask turning my attention to her. "So, I think you will be happy to know that I talked to Daisy about a simple date with you and she agreed!" Hailey says, leaning against a table. "Really? That's great ohmygod thank you hailey!" I said, shocked.

"No worries! Happy to help." She smiles, taking her phone out her pocket. "So she said that she wanted you to text her about the details but that she would definitely wanna go!" Hailey explains while looking at her phone.

"Thank you hailey! Really it means so much" I smiled. I was ecstatic that it was ACTUALLY gonna happen. I was so so so close to telling Daisy!

Silence fills the air as neither of us know what to say. It is quickly broken by me clearing my throat.

"So uh I heard that James may have a thing for you?" I grin, genuinely wanting her to have her own relationship. "I know" she says not even sounding the slightest surprised. "Y-you do?" I ask, shocked. She didn't even seem to care, let alone surprised.

"Mhm, he's not very uh.. subtle?" She chuckles as she adjusts her hair. "Oh, well are you gonna give him a shot?" I ask as she stands up again. "I really think you should, you have helped me so much with Daisy that I think you need your own love in your life" I grin. She laughs before responding "maybe I will give him a shot."

That night I decided to text Daisy about the date. I wasn't sure what to say... "hey Daisy I heard that Hailey asked you if you wanted to go on a date with me?" Backspace...wayyy too straight forward and too wordy. "You are the prettiest and nicest girl I know, wanna go on a date?" backspace. Why the hell did I even type that??? "I like you a lot, wanna go on a date?" Gahhh what can I say???

"You up for golf on Saturday?"

It was probably not the BEST thing I could of said but it was probably better then some.

After lots of backwards and forwards texting between me and Daisy we had decided to meet on Saturday after her dance class. Before I even knew it, the day had come.
