Special mention to; late night brain storming with Donttaki :)

Long ago, on the far edge of the Andromeda galaxy, existed a planet named Aletheion, Aletheion was a planet of wonder, known across the stars for its unparalleled rich biodiversity. Its environment was said to be compatible with every species in the universe, a haven for coexistence.

The planet's surroundings were adorned with lush green leaves that fell gently to its rocky surface like a natural symphony of life. Gentle trees stood tall, their whispering leaves singing a quiet harmony between the species and the vibrant nature around them.

The planet boasted crystal-clear waters so pure that one could see straight to their depths. Rivers sparkled like liquid diamonds under the sun, and oceans mirrored the sky, creating an infinite canvas of beauty.

The species that dwelled on Aletheion—beings of every imaginable kind—lived in harmony, never taking the planet's gifts for granted. They respected the delicate balance of life, thriving together in this paradise.

Even across the eons, Aletheion remained perfect. Its axis never tilted, and its climate stayed constant, providing stability for all who called it home. It was said that the planet itself was alive, nurturing its inhabitants and shielding them from harm.

But as they say, "Nothing lasts forever."

One solemn night, as the twin moons of Aletheion cast their silver glow across the silent lands, chaos erupted. Without warning, a strange, white mist emerged from the atmosphere. It was unlike anything the inhabitants had ever seen—dense, glowing faintly, and spreading unnaturally fast. The mist moved with intent, awakening every living thing on Aletheion with a chilling sense of dread.

"What is happening!?" cried a young boy, his voice trembling as he clung to his family. Moments ago, he had been embraced by the comfort of sleep, and now he was gripped by terror.

"Run!" shouted another voice from the village square, panic spreading like wildfire. Farther away, a husband stood frozen in helpless despair.

"My love!? MY LOVE!! NO!!!" he screamed, watching the mist engulf the woman he cherished most. Her form dissolved into the ominous fog before his eyes, leaving only emptiness where she once stood.

A mother, desperate to save her children, carried two sons in her arms. She ran with all her might, her heart pounding as the mist closed in. But the uneven terrain betrayed her—she stumbled, falling hard onto the rocky ground. The mist loomed just inches away. With tears streaming down her face, she pulled her sons close to her warmth, whispering words of comfort even as she knew their fate was sealed.

In just a few hours, Aletheion was unrecognizable. The white mist had consumed everything, leaving behind a toxic substance—a corrosive acid unlike anything known to the universe. The once-vibrant trees crumbled into ash. The crystal-clear waters turned black and lifeless, their surfaces bubbling with poison. The very air became unbreathable.

The species that had lived in harmony for centuries were no more. Their bodies withered and disintegrated, leaving only traces of their existence. The once-thriving planet, a beacon of life and unity, became a barren wasteland.

In the silence that followed, Aletheion stood as a haunting reminder that even the most perfect creations are not immune to devastation. What had caused the mist? Was it an external force, or something born from within the planet itself?

No one knew, and no one would ever find out. Aletheion's story became a cautionary tale whispered among the stars—a tale of beauty, loss, and the fragility of existence.
