Chapter 20 (Encouragement)

Jisoo heard a tap on her table as she looked up , her eyes met with an unfamiliar face .

The mentioned individual smiled at her forwarding her hands for a handshake

" Hi I'm Isabelle! I heard you are the company's new recruited executive secretary "

Jisoo stood up abruptly taking the girls hand

" Hello, I'm Kim Jisoo "

Isabelle grined at Jisoo widely

" I'm currently the head of the finance department, it was my bad that i didn't told you who I'm though "

Jisoo smiled slightly

"No it's fine, i didn't mind"

"It's already lunch time, so would you like to join me for lunch, the cafeteria's at the eleventh floor"

Isabelle proposed, with that same streched smile plastered to her face

Jisoo hesitated first, without her knowing her eyes crossed over Taehyung's offices door,

but she maintained her posture, and nodded at Isabelle with a smile.
Isabelle noticed and followed Jisoo's gaze.

"Sure, why not"

They went off from there .

Later Taehyung got outside his office to see Jisoo's place empty, he wondered where she must be .

She hadn't talked with him from the morning, and now that it's already passed afternoon he feels a little down.

Suddenly he heard her voice
"Thanks for inviting me, it was nice meeting you Isabelle, meet you later"

"You too Jisoo, let's meet later"

Jisoo entered the office with a coffee mug in her hands she lifted her gaze and her eyes meet with Taehyung's.

Taehyung had his hands folded , as his shoes heel tapped again the marble floor intentionally.

"Well Ms Kim, it's so nice that you'd met new people and is apparently feeling a little comfortable, but may I remind you that you forgot to got Me my lunch"

Jisoo wasn't exactly looking at him when he talked but when he mentioned about the lunch, Jisoo's eyes widen and she horrifyingly looked at Taehyung.

"I'm .... I'm really sorry, I'm really sorry".

With that Jisoo bowed several time until Taehyung stopped her

"Ms Kim , Ms Kim, Jisoo!"

When he called her by her name she looked up her face flustered, she hurriedly handed him the mug of coffee she had with her.

"You should have this coffee,and please wait a while until I get your lunch"

Taehyung smiled as he observed the pattern on her coffee mugs it was light blue in colour with , little rabbits imprinted on it.

"There's no need for that, I'm not hungry, I just had a cake earlier today before lunch and i really don't have the appetite to have lunch anyway "

Jisoo was looking down, she just found her new heels so fascinating at that moment

But her arm was suddenly held as she was pulled inside Taehyung's office Taehyung took her arms and took her inside his office,

he made jisoo sit on the sofa he had inside his office, then he suddenly opened a cabinet, which was a refrigerator when looked from inside, but from outside it looked like a bookcase .

He took out a half eaten cake from inside, he cut out a slice and placed it on a plates, and took it to Jisoo, jisoo looked at all of that silently.

When Taehyung's hand was forwarded towards her , Jisoo was just looking at his hands holding the piece of cake in a daze.

Taehyung spoke up finally
"Jisoo, take it"

"Huh, huh yes yes, but why?"

Taehyung smiled and mouthed
'eat up'

Jisoo Thanked him

He sat facing Jisoo , looking at her intently

Jisoo took a bite as the caramel and the white chocolate melted in her mouth,

she also felt a crunch of nuts
Her face reddened , as she felt the rich taste of the cake

"It's so good,where have you bought it"

"I made it"

Jisoo looked up that minute, her eyes locking with him.

She took few more bites before speaking

"You should start up a bakery it will attract a lot more customers, with your cooking skills and looks"

"What about my looks??"
