WEIRD... (Gravity Falls but I add too many OCs)

Weekending

They sprang up from the stiff white chair, and pulled on a different t-shirt, before leaving their bedroom. They sped down the stairs and across the living room- nope no wait sorry, Bud.

"Oh-ho now please do be more careful, would you dear? You wouldn't want to knock anything over, now."

"Please don't call me-" Grey tried to correct, but Bud cut them off once again.

"Now, Greyson, where are you off to in such a hurry?" Bud pried.

"Well, Buddy," Grey started through gritted teeth before calming down, "I'm headed over to a friend's place."

"Oh, how wonderful. Do be careful, and don't come back too late~" He called after Grey as they left.

"No prob'm!" They called back, before shutting the door.

"eugh, that guy gives me the creeps," they murmured, pushing open the gate.

Grey broke into a light jog on their way to The Mystery Shack, taking in the fresh air, not a hint of fabric softener, perfume, excessive moisturizer usage or Fabreeze. Finally, they walked up to the shack, knocking on the door.

It swung open, an old man in a suit, an eyepatch, and a fez gesturing grandly, "Welcome to The Mystery Shack, where- oh, it's you." He said, lifting his eyepatch to find a smiling, waving Grey.

"Hi"

"You uh, you're Dip-dop's friend?" He asked

"Uh, yeah" Grey confirmed

"So what, are you a boy? A girl? Boy-girl? Girl-boy?" He asked suddenly

"I literally don't care, just that I'm a person" Grey started, before a familiar voice cut them off.

"Grunkle Stann" Dipper droned, "Hi Grey!"

"That's my cue, thanks for having me, Mr. Stan!" Grey called as Dipper led them upstairs, Stan saluted in response and smiled as he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall with a proud smile.

Grey sat on the seat made by the stained-glass window in the hallway before the Twin's room, working on some crochet thingy, and Dipper lay on the floor near them.

"soo, what's the deal with the creepy window?" Grey asked, pointing behind them with their thumb.

"No clue, it looks pretty crazy though," Dipper replied.

"Dude, I've got something crazier." Grey chuckled.

Dipper instantly looked interested, so they pulled out their phone and opened the gallery.

"It's me, dude, my bedroom looks like Gideon's outfit exploded on an Ikea display, I have to live with Gideon's dad, and I made a murder board for my college search, that I don't even need a definite answer on 'till next year," Grey showed Dipper a picture of the corkboard, "I subconsciously make a question mark on it. What am I doing???"

"oooh! Dipper has one of those crazy conspiracy nerd boards, too!" Mabel said, coming out of nowhere, both Grey and Dipper jumped.

"Mabel!" Dipper droned, "Grey isn't-"

"No, no, now I wanna see. You gotta give me the full story, too"

Dipper sighed

"Behold!" Dipper announced, "My Gravity Falls Conspiracy Board!"

"...that is largely unfinished"

"Neat, neat," Grey said, sitting next to Mabel on her bed, both kicking their legs, "You're doing better than me, I have no idea how these things work. Watcha tryna solve?"

Dipper and Mabel exchanged glances and nodded to each other. Dipper closed the blinds, Grey coughed as the dust fell off them, and Mabel ran to lock the door. Grey raised their eyebrows at the level of seriousness the twins- including Mabel- were taking with this.

"At the beginning of the summer, I found this," Dipper pulled an old red dusty journal with gold accents, and a gold six-fingered hand with a three in the middle, "a journal written by an unknown author, who was researching the mysteries of this town and writing them down here."

"But then it just stops! Poof! Lame-o!" Mabel called, as Dipper showed Grey the previously mentioned blank pages.

"Hey, wait a sec, this was the thing you had at the Dusk-2-Dawn," they realized.

"Yeah! And it's saved our butts a couple times before, too" Dipper said

"Ight, lemme look at your conspiracy board- augh," Grey's phone rang, "what in the parasomnia does he want," they said, knowing it was Gideon even before they checked. They answered the phone, "Yo, P, what do you need?...... m-hm....... Of course.............. nah.............. no, the large...... no, large fry, not large Pitt... n-no, that's not- y'know what, lemme order. C'ya in a bit." They hung up, "Sorry guys, gotta split, but we can talk later, and maybe I can add to your board."

"Oh, yeah! C'ya, Grey!" Dipper said

"Byeeeeeeee Greyyy~!" Mabel called as they left the Mystery shack.

Grey and Gideon sat at the table, eating MacDollys (idk whatever the drive through from not what he seems was called) at the table.

"so... where's Bud and Heather, again?" Grey wondered aloud.

"Bud and who?" Gideon asked.

"your mom?" (I'm naming her Heather and idgaf what anyone else says)

"They're at some meeting I don't really care for. As soon as my daddy said 'un-see you later' I knew it was something I don't wanna be involved with," Gideon said.

Grey chuckled.

"Oi, since your parents aren't home, that means I'm in charge, right?" Grey asked.

"I guess..." Gideon started, "Wait, what are you doin'?" Gideon asked as Grey grabbed their meal, walked to the living room, and plopped on the couch.

"Being a delinquent, now get over here, we're building a pillow fort," Grey called, smiling as they turned the TV on, changing the channel to... something appealing, I guess, Gravity Falls has... questionable TV channels.

"y'all got anything good recorded on the VCR?" Grey asked.

Ok so yeah the first part, minus the bedroom part. I feel like I'm juggling a lot rn, also 'consistent posting' is out of the question.

I'm abut 2/3 of the way done with the episode I'm working on now, but I thought I'd crank this out so yall know I'm alive :)

Edit: I'm such an A tier procrastinator that I submitted my job application and stopped caring about college.

But yeah

Sometimes I wish I could just skip s1 but i'm looking forwards to some of those episodes, too, and I've got a bunch of stuff planed. I've had ideas for Double Dipper, the Deep End, Boss Mabel, Land Before Swine, Dreamscaperers, and Gideon Rises rolling around in my head for a while, and a bunch of s2 eps, so you could say I've got big plans!

New chapther in about a week tho :3
