After eating, I decided to go home. "I can drive you if you want." Harry stated, but I shook my head. "I can walk, that's okay Harry." I smiled, hugging him quickly. Harry sighed, but nodded, knowing how stubborn I was. Luke shifted awkwardly in his seat and coughed. "I uhm.. I can drive you? I'm gonna hang out with Claire anyways." Luke shrugged. I raised an eyebrow at Luke, but couldn't stop myself from nodding. "Sure." I shrugged. It wasn't a far walk at all, but if Luke was going to the apartment anways, then why not?

I hugged everyone and said good bye before I followed Luke to his car. It was a black and nice. I walked over to the passenger seat and sat down. Luke turned the car on and music filled the car right away. The 1975 was blaring trough the speakers. I couldn't help but smile.

"So.. You told me Harry wasn't your boyfriend, but may I ask you why you're holding hands with him and kissing his cheek?" Luke suddenly blurted. It looked like he regretted it because he quickly covered his mouth. I raised an eyebrow at Luke. "We're still just friends. I have known Harry since we were kids and I really love him as a friend, nothing more. Harry and I will never be a couple." I explained once again. Luke nodded slowly. "Sorry, was just being curious." he mumbled, glancing over at me for some seconds before he turned his attention to the road again.

When Luke drove past my apartment complex, I was quite confused. "Luke? You do realise that you drove past the apartment?" I asked. Luke chuckled awkwardly. "I know, I just wanted to show you something.". "Show me what?" I asked, feeling the butterflies in my stomach. Luke just smiled, but didn't say anything after that. I was curious to be honest and when Luke stopped right outside a diner, I was kind of confused.

"Come." Luke said, suprisingly grabbing my hand. Luke blushed quickly and pulled his hand away. "Sorry, I'm just too excited." he giggled. I couldn't help but giggle too. "It's alright." I answered, because it was. I didn't mind holding his hand, but knew it would be kind of awkward because we weren't supposed to hold hands.

Luke opened the door to the diner for me and my eyes widened. It was this old fashioned diner where all the waitresses were wearing dresses from the fifties and old music were playing. "Wow." I mumbled, staring around the fancy diner. "Cool right?" Luke asked, walking over to a table that looked like we were sitting in an old car.

"I know we just ate breakfast, but maybe we could, like, drink a milkshake? They have the best milkshake I have ever tasted." Luke explained as a waitress came over to us. "Luke! So good to see you again, long time since you've been her now." she said. She looked like she was in her thirties and had a huge smile on her face. "You know I can't stay away from this place, Mona." Luke chuckled. Mona smiled as she looked at me. "I'm Mona." she said, taking out her hand for me to shake. "Victoria." I said. Mona nodded. "Nice to meet you Victoria. Now what do you say about one of the best milkshakes in town?" she grinned.

I felt really welcomed here. The workers were so nice and Luke even got ice cream for free. "Do you come here often?" I asked Luke. He just shrugged. "Yeah, when I'm bored or something. Mona is a family friend so I come here sometimes to talk to her." Luke explained. I nodded, taking a sip from my banana milkshake. "This is delicious." I said.

"I came here with Claire once, but Claire doesn't really like fast food you know? She's on that diet or some shit. Figured you would like it." Luke said, avoiding eye contact with me. I didn't understand why he some times did that, but I just brushed it off. "I love it here." I grinned. When finally Luke met my gaze, he grinned too. "Really?" he asked. "Really." I answered.

We sat there for another hour just talking about ourselves. I got to know Luke even better. Like his favorite ice cream was cookies and cream, he loved how I met your mother and even though he wouldn't admit it, he was really good in math. He told me how he broke his arm in fifth grade because his brother pushed him off a swing and how he had a dog named Molly. I told him about my life and how much I loved music, we discussed different artists and it was just really fun honestly.

After a while, we decided to leave the diner. Luke paid even though I told him I could pay. I was about to open the door to the diner when Luke did the same, making our hands come in contact. We just stood there, staring at each other in suprise for some seconds. His hand making my own hand feel like it was burning. He coughed and pulled my hand away from the door so he could open it, making me go out first. I gave him a small smile as we walked over to his car again.

When Luke was driving he would tap his fingers on the steering wheel to the beat and his eyes would focus on the road, but sometimes trail over to me just to prove that he was listening to me. He would also bite on his bottom lip when he focused on the road and he was really handsome.

Luke parked outside our apartment and we both walked out of the car. At first I was a bit confused, but realized that he was going to meet up with Claire. As we walked up to the apartment, Luke suddenly grabbed my hand and stopped me. My stomach was going wild and he gave me a smile.

"I just wanted to say thanks for coming with me to the diner. It was nice that you liked it there because I felt like that weird dude because Claire would just roll her eyes when I showed her the diner." Luke mumbled, his cheeks reddened. I giggled as I squeezed his hand. "It's alright, Luke. I really liked it. Maybe we should go there some other time just so I could taste those burgers?" I asked nervously, not sure if it was awkward that I asked him that.

Luke's eyes locked with my own and he grinned, showing off his perfect dimples. "That would be nice, yeah." Luke agreed, letting go of my hand quickly before he walked to the door. He opened it and made me go in first.

"I'll talk to you later, Vic." Luke whispered as he walked over to Claire's room, knocking on the door. He waved at me before he walked into the room. I couldn't stop myself from smiling. It had been a really good day and Luke and I had awkwardly held hands three times. I knew it probably didn't mean anything, but I couldn't stop myself from actually feeling the happiness inside of me because he paid attention to me. He listened to me for once and he showed me a place, telling me how thankful he was that I liked that place. It was nice knowing I was appreciated to be honest.
