Chapter 7: A bit of a question

Keiko was walking back through the red carpet halls, but as she was walking to the apartment door, she spotted Alex turning from the corner.

"Hey!" Said Alex as she walked over.

"Sup."

Alex how ever notices the large eye bags that were engraved into Keiko's face.

"You... Gone out somewhere?"

"Yeah, that band I told you about."

"Ohhhh! Right. You know at one point when you all going to preform?"

"Depends. But I'm pretty sure by Friday we will if we don't have any delays."

"Maybe if I have time, I'll stop by."

Keiko and Alex entered through the apartment entrance with Alex grabbing plates for food, and Keiko casually relaxing on the living room couch which is right next to the dining area.

"So what's for dinner tonight?" Asked Keiko

"Rice with egg and meat, already cooked it back at the workplace."

"Ah, came prepared."

"Haha. Nice one."

Alex was done serving the food onto the plates and puts the dishes onto the table, with Keiko getting up and sitting down to eat. Coincidentally Kōsuke just came through the door as they were about to eat.

"Hey!" Said Alex.

"Good evening ma'dam!" Said Kōsuke in a joking tone.

"Ma'dam?" Commented Keiko as Alex tried hard to not burst out laughing as she drank her water.

"Sooooo how's the rest of your girls's day?"

"Same old, but with less people." Replied Alex

"Tiring."

"You saying that from your band or just because you hadn't slept?"

"Maybe both, you tell me captain detective man."

Kōsuke chuckled a little bit at Keiko's sarcasm, as he was sitting down and started to eat.

"So songs did you guys practice in band?" Asked Alex to Keiko.

"Actually we didn't really practice, we kinda did a little tryout thing where we see who can be the next member in our group."

"Cool."

"Did you managed to find another person?" Questioned Kōsuke.

"Yeah! And guess who it is."

"Oh it's a person we know?"

"Like I said, guess."

Alex called her first answer out, "uhhhhhh Raven!"

"Not exactly but good guess."

"Calley?" Asked Kōsuke.

"Dunno why would a hitman would want to be apart of a rock club."

"Perhaps change for the world?"

"Ehhhh, maybe."

"What about Daraku!" Said Alex.

"She's already in silly! She's literally the leader!"

"Alright. I gave up on my guesses." Said Kōsuke.

"Same."

"Alright. I'll give you a hint! It's one of two people we met when we were in the loop."

Kōsuke called out his answer until he's cutout. Nezu-"

"The cat girl!"

"Yeahhh! That's the one!"

"Wait have we actually even asked her name back then?" Said Kōsuke.

"She didn't have one before."

"Ohhhhhhhh." Commented Alex.

"Her name is Greenie by the way."

"Good to know, what instrument she plays?"

"Guitar, bass."

"Well, it would be nice to see her again me and Alex."

"Yeah."

The room devolved to silence after as they eat, until Alex asked a question to them.

"Sooo... What's our opinions on the seven?"

"You mean that weird rebel group?" Commented Kōsuke.

"Dunno much about them, nor I even wanna know what's their big plan."

"Not even after the mech? I mean they were involved in it."

"Yeah but, I'd just rather not be too paranoid about it unless something is at risk of our safety."

"Hmm. I can see your point."

Keiko spoke her mind on the subject, "I have no knowledge about them other than what Mancake told us." So personally I kinda fear them not gonna lie."

That night, Alex couldn't stop thinking about that folder, that stranger. From her getting ready to sleep, to being in bed trying to process her mind. It caused her to have insomnia for an hour and a half, thinking about the many possibilities. Even questions if they know her past. All she thought all night before she fell asleep were mysterious questions and the desire to know more.
