Chp.33

Karena POV

I was sitting in the living room with James until the door opened and Kayla walked in carrying her suitcase. I got up and gave her a welcoming hug.

Me: "I missed you baby."

She gave me a kiss on the cheek.

Kayla: "Mommy I missed you too!"

James: "Hey Daddy's little girl."

He said hugging her.

Kayla: "Hey daddy!"

James: "You need help getting your stuff upstairs?"

Kayla: "Yes."

James: "Ok I'll Get em."

He grabbed the bags and took them upstairs.

Me: "Well are you hungry? I know you had a long flight."

Kayla: "Yes very I'm famished."

Me: Good thing I already made you a plate it's on the stove."

She walked in the kitchen got her plate and sat at the table and started eating I walked to the fridge took the juice and poured her a cup.

Me: "Come up when you're finished."I left out the kitchen then went to our room to see James laying in bed watching tv . I laid next to him and he wrapped his arm around me. Shortly Kayla walked in the room and laid on the bed in between me and James she ain't nothing but a big baby.

Bresha POV

Me and Darell are on our way to my mom and dad house. They already had a rental car ready for us. I could tell that Darell is nervous. He cut off the car and took the key of the ignition. I grabbed his hand and we looked into each other eyes.

Me: "Baby it's going to be okay their going to love you I promise."

Darell: "I know bu-

Me: "No buts. Now come on."

He got out and opened the door for me. He took my hand and we went to the door. I rung the door bell then my bad answered.

Me: "Hey dad."

I said hugging him.

Me: "Daddy this is my boyfriend Darell ,Darell this is my Father Mike."

My dad stuck his hand out and Darell took it.

Dad: "Come i-

He was cut off.

Mom: "Mike baby who's at the doo-

She said walking to the door.

Mom: "Oh my god Bresha how you been honey?"

She said hugging me.

Me: "Good."

She let go of me and hugged Darell.

Mom: "And this must be Darell....well it's  nice to finally meet you I'm Breshas mom Annie."

Darell: Nice to meet you Ma'am."

Mom: "Well come on in."

She moved from the doorway and we walked inside.

Mom: "You guys can go to the kitchen I just finished up dinner."

We walked in the kitchen and took our seats. I sat by Darell my mom sat at the end and my dad sat at the other end we said prayers then ate.

Me: "Dad can you pass the salad?"

Dad: "Sure."

He passes it to me and I put some on my plate.

Dad: "So Darell where do you work?"

I choked on my water. Out of all the questions he ask where we works first?

Mom: "Bresha ,baby are you ok?"

Me: "Yeah I'm good mom."

I said wiping my mouth.

Darell: "Well sir I'm a business man."

Dad: "Well what type of business do you do?"

My dad asked.

I looked at Darell and he
looked at me.

Darell: "Well I-

I cut him off.

Me: "That's enough bout him for now I have something to tell you guys."

Mom: " What is it baby?"

I took Darell hand.

Me: "You guys are about to be grandparents."

Her and my dad eyes grew bigger then a smile came across their face.

Mom: "Oh my gosh how far along are you? "

She said getting happy.

Me: "2 in a half months."

Dad: "I'm going to have a little grand daughter/son running around calling me granddad."😂

Mom: "Im getting old."😂

Dad: "You're always young in my eyes baby."

Me: "Awe."

Me: "Well it's getting late so I think it's time for us to be going."

Mom: "Y'all can stay here if you wanna we got extra rooms."

Dad: "Yeah."

Me: "We already booked the hotel we're going to be staying in for the entire week."

Mom: "Ohh we'll ok come back."

Darell: "I will definitely be back that food you cooked was the bomb."

Dad: "Well you can say that again."

Me: "We'll see you guys later then."

My mom stood up and gave me a kiss on the cheek and a hug.

My dad gave me a hug and shook Darell hand we walked to the door and they walked with us ,they watched us until we got in the car. My dad wrapped his arms around my mom and they waves goodbye to us from the door. We drove off to the hotel.
