Exhaling a sigh, Chaewon placed the instrument next to them on the bed. She shuffled off the bed, holding her hand out to her girlfriend. "Can't let you starve to death, can I, silly girl?" She chuckled.
Yunjin had a smile on her face that made her look like a puppy. She took Chaewon's hand, quickly getting on her feet. She practically dragged the short girl out of the room, walking through the hallway so fast that Chaewon felt her short legs protest.
When they turned the corner, Yunjin came to a halt in the opening to the kitchen. Chaewon frowned, wondering what was stopping her. She held onto her girlfriend's middle as she looked past her.
Kazuha was leaning against the kitchen counter. Sakura had her arms wrapped around her tightly, her face buried in the crook of her neck. They were talking in Japanese, using words that Chaewon couldn't quite understand.
The tall girl cleared her throat as she stepped into the kitchen. Chaewon wanted to run back to their room, or jump out the nearest window; anything to make an escape from whatever was about to happen. But Yunjin grabbed her hand again, pulling her along.
Chaewon held her breath when she saw Sakura turn. She removed herself from Kazuha, standing next to her as if they were just colleagues.
"You shouldn't expect everyone to be asleep, you know," Yunjin innocently said as she opened the fridge, "Eunchae might've caught you two snogging."
The eldest let out a soft gasp. Kazuha crossed her arms, looking disgruntled. "Is it a crime to hug now?" She asked savagely.
The tall girl closed the fridge. "Is that all you were doing?" Her eyes were pinned on the other as she spoke.
"Oh, stop it! You're all acting so– so...!" Sakura exhaled in frustration. "Yes, we kissed, Chaewon! Happy?"
Chaewon blinked. "I mean, I didn't really... say anything..." She muttered quietly.
"You've been ignoring us all week, don't think I haven't noticed! I didn't ignore you when Yunjin told me you guys had done God knows what!" The eldest snapped.
Yunjin cast her girlfriend an apologetic look upon seeing her angry expression. Before the short girl could speak, she raised her hand. "I only told her we kissed!" She quickly defended.
Letting out a heavy groan, Chaewon buried her head in her hands. She could feel her heart thumping fast because of the commotion.
Kazuha brushed her fingers through her hair, trying to hide her nervousness. "Whatever, Kkura and I made out a little. It's no big deal, we were drunk. We've done worse things while drunk, really– ouch!" She rubbed her sore arm after the girl next to her punched her.
"You're unbelievable!" Sakura hissed.
Yunjin noticed how her girlfriend was staring into the darkness of her cupped hands. She pulled her close by her elbow. Chaewon lowered her arms when she hit the tall girl's torso, looking up in confusion.
She only realised how fast she'd been breathing when she saw Yunjin's hair move under her nose. She wrapped her arms gently around Chaewon and combed her fingers through the girl's bob. The short girl closed her eyes, simply enjoying the feeling of her girlfriend's nails scratching against her scalp.
Kazuha looked at them, her eyebrows slightly furrowed. She'd always been the silent worrying type, and ever since Chaewon's string of panic attacks, she's been doing a lot of worrying.
"Whatever, let's just go back to normal. Let's forget about all of it, okay?" She sighed, leaning her head against Sakura's shoulder.
The eldest patted her back. "Sorry I started yelling." She mumbled.
