As we watched the Autobots walk through the space bridge I knew we would never see them again. The vortex closed, and we all went our separate ways. Raf went to tech college. Miko joined a band and went on tour. And as for me, Jack Darby, I joined the ranks and worked under Agent Fowler.
The years passed, I climbed the ranks and eventually became a lieutenant in the force. During my time in the field, I met Lily Greyson. We spent lots of time together, and grew to love each other. Soon Lily Greyson became Lily Darby. We worked together in the force until she became pregnant. She stayed home while I provided at work. Eight months later, I became the father of Valerie Star Darby. I had to take leave for the first few weeks. Being one month premature, we had our hands full all of the time. She was a fighter though and made it just fine. When she was old enough to understand, I started telling her stories of Optimus Prime and the Autobots. She loved the stories and always asked for more. Little did I know that she thought that they were only stories.
Sending her to school for the first time was the hardest thing I had ever done. She was only five. I was worried about bullies among other things. She just looked at me and smiled. She was a quiet girl so I hoped that she wouldn't have a hard time making friends. I smiled and waved at her as she climbed onto the bus. Little did I know that that day would change everyones lives forever.

ActionOnce the autobots left, most of us went to live normal lives. I Jackson Darby served under Agent Fowler for many years. Settling down with my new life, I was finally okay with not seeing the autobots again. But fate had other ideas.
