Phuwin stood in front of his new department, although he was nervous at first, he managed to compose himself before knocking on the door.
Phuwin opens the door and enters the room. Phuwin was not surprised by the size of the department room. Compared with his previous Crime Department, Special Elite Team didn't have many members so the room is quite small but what made Phuwin impressed is how advanced the equipment they had. They have the best equipment, especially their PC, monitors, etc.
''Welcome to the team, you must be Phuwin, our newest recruitment!''
Phuwin was greeted by a cheerful young man who was a little bit shorter than him. The young man beamed at him; at first, Phuwin thought the young man was a high schooler, but then he noticed the name tag around his neck. It said, ''Santa P. Archen,''. He's part of the team.
''Ah, yes, my name is Phuwin Tangsakyuen,'' Phuwin said; he used his grandmother's family name to enter the Police Force, not his father's name. He doesn't want anyone to know that he's the son of a high-ranking officer and he hates to get special treatment because of his father's influence/name.
''I'm Santa; nice to meet you, na, Phi!'' Santa said
''Just call me Phuwin,'' Phuwin said, and Santa agreed; he then led Phuwin to the Captain of the team.
''Hia! The new recruitment is here!'' Santa shouted as both of them stood in front of the desk with the nameplate written 'Captain Joong Archen'.
''Santa, you should address me as Captain or Sir when we're in the workplace,'' A tall handsome man with tan skin said as he stood up from his chair.
''Sorry, sir!'' Santa said still being playful
''I'm the leader of this team, Captain Joong Archen,'' the tall man said; he has a fierce and stoic look, Phuwin thought. ''Phuwin Tangsakyuen, you'll be assigned as my work partner, don't slack off,'' he continued and then walked back to his chair
''Santa, show him around,'' Captain Joong said and then went back to his work
''Aye aye, Captain!'' Santa responded, ''Let's go, Phuwin, I will show you around and introduce you to everyone!'' he continued while pulling Phuwin's arm
Santa takes Phuwin around the department and explains everything, including the rules that the members of the team cannot break. The room is used for storing the weaponry and other stuff. After that, he also introduced Phuwin to every member of the team.
All the members welcomed Phuwin warmly; well, not everyone; 2 people kind of disliked Phuwin. Phuwin can understand why they didn't like him; they suspected that the sudden transfer of him to the department without any screening or exam was because of the connection with the higher official. Especially since their Captain said himself that Phuwin would be his work partner. Everyone was quite surprised because their Captain never took any partner; he always worked alone. Suddenly, making Phuwin his work partner stirred much jealousy among these 2 jealous members.
Captain Joong Archen, not only is he tall and handsome, but he is also very intelligent. Despite his young age, Joong has already become the Captain of the Special Elite Team 'THE GARUDA' and gained much respect among his peers. He was also well-known to be the best sniper in the Police Force.
Phuwin then realizes something, seeing the same family name of Santa and Joong. Phuwin can't help but ask him.
''Santa, is Captain Joong your brother?'' Phuwin asks, feeling curious. I mean, earlier, Santa called Joong 'Hia'; usually, when people call 'Hia' so casually, it means they're very close or related.
Santa smiled at him and nodded at Phuwin, ''He's my adopted older brother,'' he said
Phuwin just nodded, he didn't want to ask any further because that wasn't his problem.
''Hia may look like that, but he's actually very nice. You know, hard on the outside but soft on the inside,'' Santa said while patting Phuwin's back, ''You'll be fine!''
Phuwin frowned, he didn't understand why Santa told him that. He wasn't worried at all; rather, he was grateful that Captain Joong would be his work partner so he could have the opportunity and a chance to encounter the mafia syndicates.
Phuwin already did his homework about this department, especially the Captain, Joong Archen. Phuwin already did a background check on him; not only did he know about his ability and being known as the best sniper in the police force, but also his dedication and persistence to taking down the biggest ring of the underworld, the Thailand Mafia Syndicate.
Phuwin settled down on his table, right beside Santa. Phuwin then notices how crazily advanced Santa's computer is, especially the equipment. So he thought that Santa was a hacker; he also noticed a logo on his computer wallpaper. It said ''SNOWFLAKES''.
Phuwin almost choked himself, although he can also hack a system, but he's not as near as ''SNOWFLAKES''. Yes, the 'SNOWFLAKES', the most feared and genius hacker in the world. Like a ghost, no one knows the actual identity of 'SNOWFLAKES', the gender, the age or what it looks like. The one who easily breaks the almost impossible and difficult security system in the world.
Santa is the SNOWFLAKES? Phuwin thought, but he also had a doubt; maybe it's just a coincidence that Santa put that on his wallpaper; he's a hacker and probably just put that logo in his computer. I mean, no way that this easy-going-baby-face-look-like-a-highschooler like Santa is the most feared hacker 'SNOWFLAKES'.
'There's no way...' Phuwin thought, but before he even opened his mouth, there was chat coming on his phone. Phuwin looks at who it is, Phuwin's face then changes from serious to irritated.
The chat is from his beloved best friend, Satang.

Phuwin then took a deep breath, he now forgets about asking Santa whether he is the real 'SNOWFLAKES' or it's just a coincidence. His mind is now back to focus on how he can obtain any information about the Mafia syndicates and his twin's whereabouts.
'Gem, I will definitely find You' Phuwin thought.
