Hello everyone! 💗

I've come back at this time because the recent news about Liam Payne's passing has devastated me.
For the past five days, I've spent hours on Twitter telling all my old mutuals that I hadn't spoken to in YEARS how crushed I am. It's a tough historical moment for all of us, and I needed to feel connected to this incredible world again through what has always been my refuge: writing.
I apologize if it's not of high quality, but please be kind to me: I was just a kid. A kid in love with the love of these two amazing guys, for whom I am grateful every day, and who made me the romantic, patient, and kind adult I am now.

This is, in fact, the English translation of my original story published in 2019. The last time I wrote something, I was still in high school, and now I have a bachelor's degree and I'm about to get a Master's. It's crazy how time flies.

So let's get started, let's hear what my seventeen-year-old self had to say, and enjoy this reading starting from the premise. I hope you like it. Stay safe and take care of yourselves always.

I'd like to take just a few seconds before you start reading to explain a few essential and IMPORTANT things you should know about this story!

1. Anxiety disorder, its causes, and consequences are among the main themes. It's based on my personal experience and that of some people who have been or are part of my life. It's a sensitive topic, and I hope that it can help make those who go through such things every day feel less alone, as well as raise awareness among those who know little or nothing about it.

2. I've been to London several times, but I've never been to Brixton, so everything regarding this neighborhood is based on my online research. I can't know what it's like to live there, and of course, there is no Brixton State School, as it, like many other places and all the characters I will mention, is a product of my imagination. (2024 edit: I visited Brixton in 2020 during an aupair experience in London. It is way better than I described it in 2019.)

3. The families of Harry and Louis, who will appear throughout the chapters, are completely fictional. For example, Louis is an only child, and Harry has an older brother and sister. I decided to do this because, given the various situations I've described, I preferred not to involve their real families, even though they are just characters in a fictional story.

4. This story will include brief phrases in German, for which I will provide translations at the end of the chapter with asterisks, to make the reading experience as enjoyable as possible.
