I groaned loudly when my alarm woke me up at six am, but sat up in bed quickly. It was Monday and a new school day. I stood up, found some black ripped, skinny jeans and an all time low tank top. I brushed my blonde hair, putting it up in a ponytail before I applied some make up. I looked into my mirror, frowning. I had always been self-conscious. I didn't like my looks at all, my nose was too big, my face was covered in acne and I always thought that I was too boring.

I shook my head, thinking that I was done staring at myself for today and I walked into the living room where Claire was standing. She rolled her head when she saw me.

"Finally, Vic. Luke gave me a CD with some of his favourite songs once again and you know I don't like the music. You can have the chocolate he gave me too, because I don't eat that. Here,".

I raised an eyebrow at her and grabbed the CD and chocolate.

"You do realize this was a special gift from him to you, shouldn't you at least listen to the songs?" I asked her, getting angry at the fact that Luke always gave her something when they had fought just to make sure she knew how much he loved her, but Claire was never thankful and gave me half of the things he gave her.

Luke always made CDs to Claire, thinking she listened to them, but Claire always gave them to me. The songs on the CD were so beautiful. I didn't know why Claire didn't like these songs. I mean All time low, Pink Floyd, Arctic Monkeys and the 1975 were perfect.

"I'm not stupid, Vic. I knew he gave them to me, but I don't want them. You should be thankful because I give them to you." She snapped.

I rolled my eyes. She was the one who should be thankful, she never, ever thanked Luke at all. I decided to just stop the discussion before it ended up with a fight.

After putting the CD Luke made Victoria and the chocolate on my bed, I took a mental note to eat and listen to the music later. I then walked into the kitchen and grabbed some breakfast. I was a senior while Claire was in college, but Claire wanted an apartment and not a dorm and I wanted to live with her instead of my parents who were never home and I hated being alone.

I was eating cereal when my best friend, Harry, walked into the apartment without knocking. He never knocked, but I didn't care.

"Good morning, Vic." He smiled, walking right to the fridge to grab an apple. I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help but smile. Harry had black hair and green eyes and a smile that could light up the whole world.

 "Good morning, Harry.".

He was about to say something, but was interrupted by my oh so lovely sister. Harry and Claire didn't like each other at all and it was quite amusing to see them bicker with each other every day.

"Why doesn't it surprise me that you didn't knock on the door this time either?" she snapped. It annoyed her that Harry just walked in. Harry rolled his eyes.

"Why doesn't it surprise me that you once again have to bring up me not knocking on the door?" he shot back. Claire scoffed.

"You should learn to knock then.".

"Maybe you should just buy a doorbell instead?" he muttered.

Claire ignored him and walked away. I couldn't help but let out a giggle as Harry flipped her off without her knowing.

"Let's go Harry." I smiled, grabbing his arm so we could leave before another fight happened.

When we came to the school, we quickly walked to our lockers. Harry's locker was right beside mine. Harry was in the middle of telling me about his weekend when I blocked out.
