Tam fiddled with the end of his sleeves as he was waiting by the front door for Keefe.
So, Keefe had decided that today was the day that he would be taking Tam out for a date. It was quite early, just a little past 4am. Tam didn't know why they had to be up so early, but they were. Tam had a plain dark grey jumper on and he wore some plain jeans. The jumper was slightly big on him, but Tam liked that the sleeves were long and covered most of his hand.
"And I am ready!" Keefe smiled at Tam as he made it over towards the front door. Tam looked at Keefe, seeing he wore a red flannel shirt over a light grey t-shirt and some regular denim jeans. Keefe also had a bag over his shoulder.
"...We're not running away again, are we?" Tam raised his eyebrows.
"Even if we attempted to run away, I'm sure Az and Ruki would find us within a week!" Keefe exclaimed.
"Of course we aren't running away, I just have a few things packed in the bag. Now c'mon, we should get going if we wanna watch the sun rise at this pretty neat place!"
"We're what? Is that why we're up so early?"
"Uh, yeah! It'll be so nice and pretty, and hey, you're the one who said that this would be your dream first date!"
"When did I-?"
"Ahem! You said to me and I quote, 'going somewhere beautiful, like a beach, a cliff, a forest, somewhere naturey, having a picnic, having a talk and just...holding each other while the sun sets or while looking up at the stars'."
Keefe smiled at Tam, "that is what you said would be something you considered as a romantic first date hence saying that this would be your dream first date!"
Tam couldn't stop himself from smiling.
"Alright...But, we're watching the sun rise, not the sun set." Tam said, raising his eyebrows and crossing his arms over his chest as he stared at Keefe.
"Oh the sun rising is much more romantic." Keefe grinned as he went over to the front door and opened it. "Now, it is at least a 40 minute walk to the nearest beach and yeah! We are gonna sit there and watch the sun rise and hold each other, and I have some snacks in my bag! And by the end of it, I shall-"
"Hey! Nonono! No spoilers!" Tam exclaimed, quickly going over, kissing Keefe's cheek before walking out of their place.
Keefe laughed as he followed Tam out and shut the door behind him. "Haha, alright, whatever you say."
Keefe turned around and grabbed the keys to the house from his pocket, locking the front door and shoving the keys back into his pocket before turning around and holding his hand out for Tam to hold.
"Shall we go~?"
Tam smiled, taking Keefe's hand and interlocking their fingers.
"We shall."

Tam watched as Keefe set out a blanket onto the sand for them to sit on. Once Keefe set the blanket down, he placed his bag down on one of the corners to make sure it wouldn't blow away and he looked back at Tam.
"You may sit, my dear." Keefe said, pointing to the blanket with his hands and slightly bowing down.
"You're a huge dork." Tam smiled as he went over and sat down on the blanket.
Keefe grinned as he sat down next to Tam. "Agh, I know. You tell me that often."
Tam shuffled closer next to Keefe and rested his head against Keefe's shoulder. Keefe wrapped his arm around Tam's body, his hand on his waist and holding him as close as he could. Tam looked ahead and saw how calm the waves were. His gaze flickered to the sky. It was still quite dark but it did seem lighter than when he and Keefe first left the house.
"I feel like I may fall asleep." Tam mumbled, his eyes fluttering a little.
"Awh, nooo, Tammy, I swear that once we watch the sun rise, you can sleep all you'd like!" Keefe said, lifting his shoulder a little to wake Tam up.
Tam grumbled and he glared at Keefe. Keefe smiled and he leaned in, kissing Tam's head.
"You love me."
"Unfortunately."
"Hey-!"
"Pfft, hahaha!"
Tam looked back at the sky and Keefe kept his gaze on Tam, admiring how he looked. Keefe glanced at Tam's hair.
"Hey, you know your hair seems to be growing out a little." Keefe said, his hand moving from Tam's waist and up towards the ends of his hair.
Tam felt Keefe begin to run his fingers through his hair.
"Mmh, what about it?" Tam asked, lifting his head from Keefe's shoulder and looking at the Empath.
Keefe shrugged a little.
